Totally agree, Rice for captain. Odegaard had been poor.

Rice has captain attributes but Odegaard is our captain and we should respect that.
That's a bad idea: stripping a captaincy is a big deal. Odegaarde has been and is a great captain – no one knows how changing the captain would effect him and the team. Leave that to the team and manager, they know the dynamics.
Ahh man the Rice bumlicking is already unbearable. He only has to run with the ball and Arsenal fans sponk their undies.

The problem with fans is that they expect victory every week. Not even treble winners can accomplish that. If this is the type of game they should win, which games can the team afford not to win? The conundrum facing fans.
Declan is the future captian while the current captian is only a month older
Odegaard is a top player but he is not captain material. Always goes missing in the big games.
Declan WILL be our captain in the near future.
We have to remember that Xhaka was stripped of the captaincy, then became a far better player because of that decision.
All those who are say Declan rice could become captain should stop. Odegaard and Rice are one month apart by age. Plus, when the window was open, the people responsible for transfers didn’t think of leadership players to sign especially knowing we were returning to the UCL as well as the chance to challenge for the title. I didn’t even know who the vice captain was until I checked Wikipedia (it’s G.Jesus). Declan can become vice-cap but when a team has a striker who’s injury prone having the vice-captaincy mainly due to bias, you’ve got a problem on your hands. Anyways, it is what it is but it won’t surprise me if the fans turn on the transfer recruitment as well as the manager in the next 2-3 years when they only win the fa cup and a finalist medal at the EFL cup.
Not signing any leader-type-played in the summer was a mistake. Although Xhaka wasn’t the best Captain at times, he was what we needed when it counted the most. The comebacks, the motivational gatherings he did, etc. and a logical person would replace a player of that caliber with someone of the same psyche and ability (or even better) but unfortunately we have our hands on our heads thinking why we didn’t do so.
Okay shut up. Odegaard doesn’t play for the women’s team. Respect our captain. I hate fans like this.
Today D Rice was our Captain.. When we were 2 goals down he stood up and carry the midfield and the team on his back. A true leader.
