Lots of us complain about modern football being too physical and too little exciting from a technical perspective, but then we have a player like Neymar and all we do is give him disrespect. He’s made major mistakes in his career but he’s also been unlucky. The problem is, in order to talk about that in a reasonable way, as a football fan or ESPECIALLY as a pundit you must be able to go beyond the usual “…after he left Barcelona” type of cliché. I’m not sure some of the people on the panel are capable of doing that.
