Raya better watch out when Arteta signs Lloris to be his Carabao Cup number one, Jens Lehmann for the Champions League and David Seaman for the Prem.
Ramsdale should stay and improve himself. He will not be the England goalkeeper.
Although I'm also bored of this story, I think Simon is right here. He's not saying Arteta's decision is right or wrong. He even challenged Jim when he said the decision was 'disrespectful'. He's only saying that Ramsdale will need to move to somewhere where he's number 1 because he's clearly number 2.
Arteta has basically said Ramesdale is not good enough, simple as. He needs to move on as said.
This Ramsdale conversation is TOTALLY irrelevant. As an Arsenal fan, what i care most is seeing the club win games with players' Mikel view deserve to start games. If Mikel sees Raya is ahead of Rams, then who are we to object. Tired of the Media nonsense

why would ramsdale not give up?? he came in, arsenal had their best season and he is still replaced, you have one career, sitting on the bench isn't an option for a decent GK, time to go. could be #1 for at least 10 other prem teams.
Raya was shocking last week, bailed out repeatedly by his defence. He was decent at Brentford, but prone to a mistake.
Arteta should select on merit.

the day he was dropped for the NLD was the day he should have been on the phone to his agent to get him out of there IF he didn't already do that the day they loaned Raya in… Arteta created a problem where there was none. Arteta sold this in the press as a tandem goalkeeper set up, but clearly he brought Raya in as his #1… Ramsdale needs to leave ASAP

If any other goalkeeper had played like Ramsdale has the last 2 years they’d be a guaranteed starter at their club.
