    Hello and welcome back to Football Daily where today we are analysing Mason Mount’s potential move to Man United and the reasons behind it.

    The Chelsea academy graduate has had a difficult season. Injuries and a loss of form has seen his standing in the Blues pecking order drop and with no prospect of a contract renewal he had been linked with moves to Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

      • Chelsea Academy Player of the Year: 2016–17
      • UEFA European Under-19 Championship Team of the Tournament: 2017
      • UEFA European Under-19 Championship Golden Player: 2017
      • Vitesse Player of the Year: 2017–18
      • Eredivisie Team of the Year: 2017–18

      • Chelsea Player of the Year Runner-Up during his debut 1st Team Year 2019-2020. His goal & assist on the last EPL game got Chelsea Top 4  that got them UCL spot the next season

      • Chelsea Player of the Year: 2020–21. This is the year Chelsea won the Champions League vs Man City.
      • Goal at UCL Quarterfinals vs Porto.
      • Goal at UCL Semi-Finals vs Real Madrid.
      • Assist at the only UCL goal in the Finals where Chelsea won the Champions League.

      • UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season: 2020–21

      • Premier League Academy Graduate of the Year: 2020–21

      • Chelsea Player of the Year: 2021–22. He has 13 goals & 16 assists. Chelsea 3rd at EPL table.  He is also only the 3rd Englishman to score at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium at the UCL quarterfinals. This is the year Chelsea had sanctions related to Abramovich.

      • Recent/current interest from Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich + Pochettino wants him to stay at Chelsea… down to contract negotiations where he seeks parity with peers (has been one of the lowest paid players at Chelsea since 2019 when he joined)

      This deal would make great sense if United didnt already have Bruno, i dont see how you really fit them into the same team unless you either change Uniteds entire tactic, and half the reason they've improved last season was the switch to the double pivot, or if you put one of Mount or Fernandes out wide, which not only means you're not getting the best out of one of them, but it also means that one of Antony and Sancho (if not both) will have to leave, and considering the outlay on both of them it'd be a huge admission of incompetence from whoever is signing off the deals at United

      As per usual an over priced over rated English player, not worth it he's an average Premier league player at most.
