The abuse that Maguire gets is nowhere near the level of abuse that Beckham got in 98. I mean Beckham was public enemy number one to the public. He was even threatened spat at in the streets etc. Only his family & Manchester United & us fans protected him. He needs to be played in a cdm kinda role so he’s got support behind him. He gets forward but can just never gets back and makes errors to try and rectify where he should of been in the first place. He’s got the height and is great in the air he just needs some confidence a new club and regular play time.

Maguire is a victim of his own English Media. He got to much spotlight when he was going to united. The media and english fans, united fans especially are very unforgiving.

If only he was humble enough to admit some performances could be better. Instead of his arrogance of saying "there's a reason I'm a captain at united, there's a reason the manager picks me, I should look at my big moments in my career" no you should look yourself in the mirror and say you know what, some performances could be better. Don't have to excuse yourself after every game, but a bit of self reflection would do you good, instead of thinking you receive abuse just for the sake of it. From someone completely neutral. I think Harry’s a great role model for when things aren’t technically going your way on the pitch. He still keeps his head up speaks great and doesn’t let small minded people get the better of him. Pull through this tough time harry and you’ll be back to the 80 million defender you can be!

I think Manchester United fans are simply some of the worst in the world, worse than Knicks fans. I still remember those Patrick Ewing twilight years and the abuse he was receiving. This is so much worse. Now they're attacking their goalkeeper too.
