  1. Ali made a good point. Trent adds to the team, but also creates a major dilemma defensively. He's become brutal.
Neither Trent, nor Van Dijk deserve to be top 5 this year. Nobody on defense deserves it.

  2. In the last 5 years Trend has been the most creative footballer for Liverpool. He has been so critical to their success. Yes he has defensive weaknesses but he makes up with his offensive shift. If the coach has decided to move him to a position where his weaknesses can covered and yet his strength can be elevated, I don't see how it makes the player less important! I think Ali is also just being so much of a Latin American!!

  3. Ale trippin as usual. If Trent is this “bad defensively” then why would he still be starting for LFC?? Oh ya because they rely on him to bring the ball forward and create chances, all while tracking back to help the back line. So I’d say he is easily top 4 most valuable if they had to realign the tactics in order to keep him in the starting 11 because he’s that important to Liverpool

  4. Klopp literally won all the trophies available with trent the only recognised right back in the team that too at a young age. The fun fact is trent is the only creative force in the team with Robertson coming second

  5. Lol this is an absolute horrendous take. Putting trent not in top 5 mvp in Liverpool is criminal. I mean i also wouldn't put him in top 2. For me it is Alisson and Salah as 1 and 2 in any order. Then maybe VVD and then it has to be Trent. I know Liverpool have Szobo and Macca but still they are 8 games old so can't label them MVPs ahead of Trent yet. It is ridiculous.
Ale forgot that when Trent is not playing our creativity suffers a lot. He is Liverpool's KDB at right back. Yes not great defensively but still when he plays he gives a lot more than he takes.

  6. If Trent and MacAllister swap roles right now, Trent plays midfield and MacAllister goes to right back.
I pretty sure Trent is the better right back, and if Trent plays midfield, Trent is also the better midfielder.
    So it Klopp "hiding" MacAllister?
