Can someone please answer this for me, have City never lost a game with Rodri and KDB fit and in the same game? Cos I just don’t get it. Is Ade puzzled cos they lost against Arsenal with Rice in the midfield. I just don’t get what the shock is!
Why Rodri and Debryne excuses? Arsenal didnt have Saka and Timber. Didnt both Rodri and Debryne play the Community shield match? How many goals did they give City? Did City win the match? It's absolutely mind blowing how much standards change when it comes to Arsenal, we played against the best team in the world who supposedly have the best bench in the world and we beat them with injuries as well and players returning from injuries but last season when we played both matches with injuries to key players, no one talked about these injuries
At the same time, we beat City in the Community Shield with KDB and Rodri on the pitch and we created two scoring chances before they even scored.
City lost the 3 matches following Rodri's suspension and no one is talking about over-dependence on this player but when we said last season that we lost the title following the injury of Tomiyasu and Saliba everyone laughed

Before this game, anybody could tell you Arsenal is not at full strength. Last year we were in better form goal scoring wise at this stage. When we had to play City, I think after their loss to Liverpool, The queen passed. I believe we would have lost that game.

This team's "Average" Performances IMO would be stronger than our BEST last season form. How many times have we said "we need partey!" or "we need a rb/lb/cb/dm" this year? We only really need an upgrade on Nketiah and in the last match, Havertz showed what Nketiah couldnt in 15mins.
I just wished Timber never got injured. I believe he is a better inverted FB than Zinchenko as well as a better RB than White.

We just gonna pretend City don't lose? They lose games every year and they lost to Wolves right before playing Arsenal. I think winning the league 3 years in a row and dominating for a decade has earned people thinking its more about them rather than their opponent and not overreacting 8 games in.

City tried to buy Rice, did not "back out", and Rice chose Arsenal. It's been confirmed multiple times by reliable journalists not to mention Declan Rice himself.
Each time Arsenal has played City, it is usually with a depleted team. Last season Jesus, Saliba and Partey was missing when they played City, and they called them master class. The last game Arsenal was without Saka, Timbre, Martinelli and Partey ( those 2 came much later) and people are not talking about it. These players for Arsenal are as important to the team as Rodri and CDB to City. In the community shield the double pivot of Rice and Partey stopped both Rodri and CDB having a field day. I knew that double pivot from Arsenal (Partey, Rice, Odegard & Jorginho) will trouble a lot of hard teams. That Arsenal team will get better with Rice, Partey Odegard combination. Spurs escaped defeat as soon as Rice left and Partey was not fit. If they were double, Spurs will lose. Give Arsenal some credit. Trust me when their players are fit, they're a harder team to beat now.
What is being said here is that for Arsenal to have a fair win against mancity, they should only play a mancity that has what they call 'worldclass' players fit!😅 Well, next time they're beaten, please don't say the pitch was not well groomed!😂

C'mon Ade, stop whining about the absense of Rodri and KDB. I know they are quintessential for City, but: They were there when Arsenal beat City at Community Shield. Admit it, KDB will not have enough physicality to play the sock off the whole 90 minutes in this kind of game, and he was neither at CS game. The lacking of Saka at the right wing of Arsenal is also a huge blow for them when you compare the front line of both teams on lineups. I geniunely think I would be a share point for both teams if they were having their strongest squad, just like what happened at CS game. Arsenal are no longer miles away behigh City this season.

Look the injuries debate Can happen any given game so bringing it up is irrelevant. Last season saliba is out against man city, injuries around the squad, players coming back from injury trying to find form, now their without saka, we didn’t have Gabi the full 90, so to say that it was due man city not being at their full 100 percent neither was Arsenal. Arsenal we’re simply better.
