Decent striker but not ready for the pace of the premier league. West Ham needed him to do a job that was not his natural game. The options were adapt or move on. He moved on. He might have adapted but illness and knee surgery limited his opportunities. He is better suited to the Italian game, best thing for all parties concerned.
