Tomiyasu is a wonderful player IF, IF, IF, he can stay fit for a bit! A defender in particular needs 4-6 games to get into the pace and another 4-6 to start playing serious team football. We haven’t seen any serious team football from Tomiyasu in a couple of years now, his only role has been sub full back just until another muscle goes. Folks go to arsenal as complete strangers to the treatment table, 3 years later they’re sold on, still on the treatment table! It’s always the same at Arsenal, Wenger was the worst but George Graham’s best players were mostly injured. They’d need a squad of 60 to cover all the muscle injuries.
