  1. Hi Tom, I do not agree with u on the Jesus aspect, yes he will score more if we create more, but his finishing does need to improve. Let's not forget he also played for an equally creative City side before moving to Arsenal. It's also not only about finishing, it's also about making good runs and finding spaces for the creative players to feed the striker.

  2. Tom do you think we would not take Toney to another level? Arteta has a track record of improving players, maybe he can do the same here. Obviosuly I want Osi, but is it realistic

  3. Tom to your point on big chances; I agree, to an extent. Last season we created ALOT of chances and we still had some question marks over Jesus finishing. So even with an increase in number of chances he will not be a 20+ striker.

  4. Absolutely bang on with regard to Toney, Tom!
Not the level we need to be the best despite his qualities.
Money needs to be channelled towards a higher ceiling prodigy.

  5. eddie nketiah has been to leeds and other clubs and didn’t do near anything ivan toney had at brentford in prem or in championship.. jesus played for the same city team who create so many chances and was no where near prolific.. it’s not just an arsenal thing it’s a jesus thing, he is not a prolific finisher no one would ever say that… ivan toney has a ceiling but yes what he already does elevates arsenal as none of our strikers can do that or have done that.. if you take penalties off his goals might as well do same off saka, ronaldo, messi etc who all score loads of penalties… ivan toney will score more goals at arsenal simply because we create way more chances and are more dynamic compared to his brentford team… he isn’t my number one choice i’d ideally want osimhen… i don’t think we need a young up and comer in that striker position, we need a proven goal scorer if we are to be a force now and win top honours… buying more youth is good but everyone else is buying so sometimes you need that balance of buying for the future but in key positions you need someone for the here and. ow, haaland is young but a prolific anf proven goal scorer, i don’t think city would have gone out for a 21 year old who wasn’t in the haaland profile… again my opinion you don’t have to agree but eddie is no where near the striker and profile that ivan toney is

  6. I understand that you think we can get better than Toney but placing him in the same quality bracket as Eddie is a bit mad. I like Eddie and we support him but we all know Toney is a better striker with out doubt

  7. What does “you want to shield smith Rowe from additional scrutiny” even mean with respect of not starting him for nearly 500 days????

  8. I hear you on the lack of creativity, that's why for me the left 8 position is the priority we need to address I'm not saying we don't need another striker but last season we was more fluid and scored goals by comity.

  9. I dont want us to sign Tomey hes a good player but not quality we need inmo .Hes 28 has had injury problems and thomas franke has already quoted as saying they would be looking to get harry kane money for toney which is mad .i wouldnt be spending that level of money on toney id be dropping that kind of money at city's door for alvarez hes the kind of player i wouldnt mind spending crazy money on .

  10. Morning Tom. I have a mouse visiting……and keeping me awake until early this morning. It’s wearing combat boots, I swear. All I can think of is Mr. Jingles in ‘The Green Mile’.
