      Agree with Scott, ades take is ridiculous Jackson had the ball in the net twice last night he deffo can finish but he needs time. Idc about the billion spent you can’t throw a whole new team together and not give it time and patience

      the owner isn't bothered about ffp that's the reason he's signing players on such long contracts, they will buy again in the jan window and the summer window and he will keep doing it until ffp ends in them getting a fine and a transfer ban but he's priced this into his thinking because he will sit and go well i got all the players i wanted on 5-8 year contracts what's a fine and what's a two year transfer ban going to do now 😛

      We are way too hasty nowadays to write off people and create sensationalism. Its the same way some wrote off Nunez last season and he is steadily improving. Give players a chance

      Geez you guys are not very good. Drogba had a “team” playing for him and strike partners like Gudjunsen and Anelka. He had Lampard in his prime feeding him.
      Jackson has the goods, it’s plain to see that he’s good and he’s been incredibly unlucky so far playing in a dysfunctional side. He’s strong, his chin is always up. I’d back him all the way.

      Sometimes I really dislike English pundits/radio presenters.. the same thing was said about Haaland and Nunez, only to regret it later and reverse what they've said.

      People rarely make sense when talking about Chelsea. I'll say it again, I dont think any other clubs survives what Chelsea has gone through in the last 3 or so years with the sale, injuries etc. This is not an excuse. It's a fact.

      For more of his career than not so far, Jackson has been a very clinical finisher. Last season he had 0.29 goals per shot and 0.55 per on target shot in La Liga – a better conversion rate than many of Europe's top forwards, including the likes of Håland, Kane, Salah and so on. In fact he was the tied fifth most clinical player in Europe. He was also the absolute top player in Europe for goals created through dribbling, which is no mean feat when you have the likes of Vinícius attempting 300 dribbles per season.

      He objectively can finish. When you're playing for a terrible Chelsea side that don't create high quality chances because they would rather keep the ball than use space, and your confidence takes a knock as a result, we're talking about form.

      Also Drogba did not 'struggle' in his first season. He had 15 goals and assists in 18 starts in the Prem, and 21 goals and assists in 26 starts overall. That's just 2200 minutes btw. Don't just look at the stat of 10 goals in the Prem in isolation without context because it's a stupid way of dismissing the achievements of a target man who had more assists per goal than Lionel Messi.
