Messi after PSG and a week away from being on holidays, Argentina had two Friendlies, Messi played one match and Scaloni forced Messi to return to home and rest for the second game, even though Messi wanted to play it. Scaloni said that he knew that Messi was tired but having Messi on the bench is always a temptation for any coach, So for the sake of Messi and team, it was convenient that Messi not be on the field or on the bench to not risk him for serious injury. Messi is tired and with muscle discomfort, if he had been in the final on the bench, without a doubt Messi would go to save the game and but at the cost of seriously injuring messi this time and leaving him off the field for months. its the coach decision and we have to acknowledge that and Messi should never be criticised in these situations because he will always turn up if he is fit to play by the medical staff and the player himself
