For me, Hannibal could do what we wanted Rabiot to do and won't cost us 250k a week. Good defensive minded players get a hard time from fans, but they are so invaluable to a squad. Without them we dont win half the trophies we have. Park Ji Sung, Fletcher, O'Shea, Butt, P.Neville. Just to name a few. Look at any successful team and they are littered with players like this. I put Mount and Hannibal in this category, their work goes under the radar, but their teammates fully appreciate them as they make their jobs easier.
