City are the barometer for success and elite standards. Rashford would not come close to getting into the City side for one very simple reason…lack of effort. It’s strikingly clear how lazy Rashford is when you watch City play. All of their players, including their wingers, play as a collective and relentlessly hunt in packs. Rashford’s stats and moments of brilliance mask over how detrimental he is to the team as a whole. I’m beyond tired of his apathy and laziness getting overlooked. It’s well past time for him to get called out and benched.

I always say changing the footballing culture and style of play is much easier when most of the players involved are very young, probably 23 years and below. Asking 28 years plus players to change their playing philosophy is very difficult and it will take a lot of time. Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle, Man City, and now Tottenham have done it. Man Utd should follow that direction.
Marcus Rashford is pants. Poor first touch, runs down cul-de-sacs, rarely get's his head up, gutless in the tackle, work-rate abysmal, only scores in pockets. If we can still get £50m for him in Jan, we should take it.

I have said it many times. What Trashford actually lacks is football intelligence. This is something which you can’t do anything about it. It’s born with you to be intelligent. He doesn’t know when to run when to press when to shot and when to pass the ball. You can’t see him play for top teams. Teams like Man city and Real Madrid won’t even put him in their bench. We must agree that the first season of ETH was good but you could see that the purchase of many players were not worth and it is showing on the pitch. Forgot injuries, Newcastle have a less expensive team and can put 8 goals part teams. ETH is not good tactically and not clever with his buying. None of our central defenders are imposing enough. Antony was clearly a very very bad purchase, I believe that we need Amrabat to play he might be the answers to the problem. We need a good defensive midfielder, every 6 top prem teams have a robust one. We need a spine to the team.
Arsenal bought Trossard a very good choice, Tottenham Madison very good. Why we took Mount. We must look in the Prem league for answers that's all.
Playing with the same tactic we are playing with biggest teams I fear we will be conceding lots of goals. Things need to change.

I think one of the reasons why we are not scoring as much is the transition gameplay we are still learning. The midfield is usually left bare and not enough people to intercept. The issue is, do we continue cos there is potential for many goals when they do start coming but nobody has patience for that.
