Rugged southpaw Vladimir Hernández (13-4, 6 KOs) registered the finest victory of his career, outworking former unified super welterweight world champion Julian “J-Rock” Williams (27-3-1, 16 KOs) to win a 10-round split decision.

Hernández won on two cards by scores of 97-93 and 96-94 respectively, while a third card read 96-94 for Williams.

Williams got off to a strong start, countering the aggressive Hernández with well-timed counters and opening a cut over his right eye. Hernández never stopped coming forward, utilizing a dedicated body attack to gradually wear Williams down.

The non-stop assault culminated in a big 10th round for Hernández, who rocked Williams with a straight left. The round was the margin of victory for Hernández.

  1. From the start up to the 5th rounds i see j.williams winning but the rest of the fight up to the last round that Vladimir was a monster non stop punching and j.williams looks like he's gas out..
I think the most deserving man won..
Congrats to both fighters what an incredible fight 👏

  2. VERY interesting fight! Williams used more distance shots and his reach while Hernandez tried more to fight from close stance to his opponent , like Tyson did back then with Lenox luis

  3. these types of fights remind me not to judge a fighter based on his record. we need to remember that not all fighters had the same opportunities & even the right guidance or promotion behind them. all respect to every fighter out there.

  4. Very good fight.victory for Hernandez.he worked hard to win the fight .Bayless is an excellent ring manager. The judges did a very good job.thank you for sharing us another episode of boxing.more power to you all

  5. Great FIGHT..AND THE RIGHT MAN WON. J."GOT" ROCK' d
Simply got BEAT DOWN,, and it was pretty ugly….
Williams seems like he just quit… AFTER ROUND 4 HE JUST DIDNT WANT TO BE IN THERE…

  6. IM SURE GLAD THAT THE JUDGES SAW THE SAME FIGHT THAT I DID , I THINK THAT ALL THAT THE COMMENTATORS COULD ONLY SEE THE BLACK GUY FOR SOME REASON.

  7. great fight. I agreed with the judges, i cant believe the commentators were so all in on Williams. Seemed like they just liked his style better, but Hernandez was all heart and conditioning to come back and win that one.

  8. I wish the boxing unions would give the Covid scam the finger. It's idiotic to submit to false statistics and accept the face mask which is nothing but an enslavement symbol.

  9. I am sick of this jack talker. Announcer who is running his mouth like a whippoorwills ass, not letting Lenix Lewis get a word in, giving us statistics and history lessons about these guys while we’re trying to watch the fight

  10. painful to listen to such a bias commentary! just bs! the Williams guy can verily walk! the liver is bleeding!
…me me neither!? Leno-xx so full of shiet! your champion is just an old chump! willie boy stay off the ring or get better defense training!
…surprised that the judges did not sold themselves out! me too!

  11. Hernandez lost the first 5 rounds, he was pressuring, but pressure doesn't score points landed punches does. Most of the punches he threw weren't landing. If anything, it should of been a draw.
