  1. Liverpool will win the league. The body language of Klop, Salah and the rest of the older boys is to win the league and nothing less. City is not an obstacle for me and everyone will see it by December. Anything short of the title will be a bad season for Klop. It's a must win whether Van Dhyk steps up or not. We have the new players who are ready to support the defense to hold on to a win in every game.

  2. City having such a depth is a myth now. Arsenal have a better squad. City just added an undercooked Doku to replace Mahrez
Gundo will never be replaced. It's not the same

  3. Why do you so called pundits, like to look down on liverpool, city got rid off players too,I don't think will be as efficient last season plus there are some teams that will cause them problems a couple draws and it will be open to two or three teams to take it.i am Liverpool and every year I think we have a chance to win.

  4. Bad take given it's 1.5 games, but I kind of think Liverpool have played better without Van Dijk. Similar to how I also thought Brazil played better in 2018 WC without Neymar. Going to have to see a few more games to decide if the Villa game was a one-off dominance or it was the team just getting better as they play more together.

Lastly, City may very well win the tile, but for me they don't look invincible so far. They can and probably will find form and be formidable, but 2 points is nothing at this point. For me, all three (City, Liverpool and Arsenal) are in the title hunt at this point. Should be a fun season.

  5. Its not just Van Dijk, Robertson isn't the same either as he is getting older now and its becoming harder for him to keep that engine up that he has had. Trent has been a problem in defence for a while now, but I do think he is working hard on it and I wonder if he will defend at CB more often, as he played really well there against Villa.

  6. Arsenal aren't any of our worries. They had one good season and are back to where they belong. Liverpool just need to win 1 game at a time and maybe this time, the lesser quad is for the taking

  7. Stevie is right. I have the same opinion. Back in the days I remember no one dribbled past VVD in one and a half seasons. But now it looks so easy for other teams to get past him. It's a concern.

I still back him. Pls get up to speed!

  8. What is Steve talking about. Two out of three goals conceded by Liverpool this season have been Trent's errors. Virgil is just being made the scapegoat because of that red card which in my opinion was a very close call. It is TAA that we should worry about more. He had a wonderful showing against Aston villa but that does not change the fact that 66% of our goals conceded this season have been because of his errors

  9. How is manc better than last season? they have weakened significantly..
    Doku<Mahrez
    Kovacic < Gundagon
Gvardiol < Laporte (Laporte is a proven consistent performer)
    Nunes < KDB

Losing key players and still people think they had the best transfer window.

  10. Literally not one person in Liverpool is worried about van Dijk. He’s been back to his best in preseason and the 2 full games he’s played.

  11. Stevie complaining about the backline. They’ve conceded THREE. 2nd least in the league, behind city. With 90 mins with 10 men. My god. He’s such a whiner.

Every team gives up chances, including city.

  12. As a LFC fan, we're kind of in the dark about how far we can go. It's looking good for our new midfield but it's a sense of we will have to see what this team is really capable of. I think if you ask most Liverpool fans, they're probably very happy at the current moment.
