      My thoughts

      1) Goalkeeping situation is disappointing due to injuries. Our #1 and #2 are injured
      2) Schlupp situation – I'm not really surprised he's not included. I do not need him better than a lot of players, despite playing at CP. Based on coach mention of "willingness" to play Schlupp hasnt exactly been loyal to playing. Also the position we need him (defense) is not his preferred playing position. He wants to play attacking midfield/winger and we have plenty players there. I think if he was willing to play as left back, he would be considered.

      3) Painstil situation – that one is a bit head scratcher, but if you actually see, since Otto Addo, I do not think he rates Painstil well. Painstil played well at Afcon. But Afcon was a disaster nonetheless and thus the performance doesn't mean much. Painstil was called for the qualifiers and didn't even play so there must be something in training or playing style/coach philosophy that Otto Addo saw for him to not be included.
      4) Afriyie Barnieh was a decision so they can get the FIFA money for the local club/GPL. I would have picked Afena Gyan given his role is helping us qualify

      I expect morale to be good. The team that played a solid role to beat Nigeria to qualifier is mostly included (Osman, Elisha) with the addition of very good players like Inaki, Semenyo, Dede (missed game), Lamptey, Salisu, Salis Ahmed, Sulemana (missed game), Sowah. Overall besides goalkeeping the team is a lot better (and talented) than the qualifying team.

      Also if you look this is the same squad that was at camp for brazil and Nicaragua friendlies (minus injuries and plus Salis Ahmed + Sowah (upgrade) which means theres enough team cohesion which is important.

      It took us a huddle to get to where we are today. Otoo is a good coach but we all know that he want to proove a point at the world cup so that he can land his German club job. Look the black stars has become a problem child (cashcow) who will not and never bring money or trouphy hope . We are your stake holder and we have a say in your decision. We know that you know that the GFA is manipulating your list. Look you can't toy with our emotions ok.

      Sahara…. l think Otto rightly answered your question by saying conversation between him and the players are private even though l am paraphrasing…and that's the professional way of putting that. And he even went further to say if he tells us what they discussed, there will be back-and-forth which will be so unprofessional. And you Sahara, you know how we Ghanaians are good at exaggerating any story or incident with sugarcoating, taking things out of context, very unnecessary. Secondly, on your question about Paintsil, he said decision by him and his technical team were made regardless of how you're doing at your club level. Further said, they looked at players performance on-and-off the pitch to make that final decision. What does that mean? It could mean many things, if one listened or understood or follows his basic directives or instructions on the field or fit his style of play. And the fact that Paintsill is scoring goals at his club doesn't reflect in his tempo at Blackstars which happens to player. We haven't seen him come close to that on the national team level. And for me, as a former coach, l have always had problems with Joseph Paintsil and Afenya style, player positioning, and confidence level on the ball even when they have the ball with no one around. That critical football thinking in-a-split-second without hesitation is not there for these two guys and l'm not sure if it is their footbal intellectual maturity level or mere lack of experience, which both are very young and may get there one day. But at this point…. Otto was spot on with those two players. Go look at some Paintsil videos in Blackstars games and see his ball handling and decision making to understand what l saw as well.

      WHY IS THE MAJORITY OF THE PLAYERS SELECTED MUSLIM? WE NEED BOTH ASHANTI CHRISTIANS MIX WITH ISHMAEL'S PPL. GH IS DONE IN FOOTBALL with these type of players.
      how you create a good team is, you look at the best team ghana has had in a tournament (world cup 2010) and you copy the same formula. i know it different players and generation but this squad is truly trash. I hope they prove me wrong but i doubt that.

      I wanna see us do well but I can't see us doing much if not anything at all against Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay. I mean I want you guys to prove me wrong but I doubt it.
