It becomes incompetence when its EVERY week.
Now that's a way to over complicate a simple call
VAR been introduced to fix matches and determine outcomes for the big money club investors
The ref saw it and made his opinion strong. We cry when the infield ref bows to var. then we cry when they over rule them.
When VAR was introduced, they said that it would be used to "eliminate clear and obvious errors". It appears to cause more problems than it was implemented for. If it is a clear and obvious error, why do they need to draw a line across the pitch just so they can say that someones label on their boot was in an offside position, or an elbow, which you can't score with.
If you play the man ,not the ball. Thats called rugby. Theres not a utd fan on here doesnt think a penalty should have been given to wolves. It was clearly a foul. Honest opinion from a red.
Now watch the penalty that should have been given at arsenal. The arsenal defender played the man, no intention of going for the ball.
Just want VAR to be consistent. Get it right or get rid.
The
Keeper has right of way in the pen area.. take that away there will be turmoil
Fans who actually go to a match don’t want VAR. what’s more important than that? Get it in the bin!

How's it not bloody incompetent? My god
It shouldn’t matter if we give those or not, don’t we have rules to follow? If you miss the ball and you’re late and collide with the attacker, it’s a foul. Period. Once again cheating for United.
Hojlund should have had a penalty at the Emirates. Hilarious how no one's talking about it but if it was the other way around everyone would be fuming
danny will be saying "dollars for donuts" next
Now do vicario on schade
I still don’t think that’s a penalty 🙄
The VAR ref should have sent the on field ref to the screen. Then it's the on field ref that makes the decision with the aid of the replay Pretty Simple really. The VAR refs were rightly suspended for this failure. The onfield ref should not be pre judging the outcome of the VAR check so was also rightly suspended.
As a sports fan who grew up watching rugby and how the TMO and onfield referee communicate with each other and crucially challenge the onfield refs decision from time to time I find it laughable that the people who run VAR still can’t look at the way how rugby uses the TMO and think ok we can learn something from this. Honestly it’s not rocket science.
Yanited own var
Easy you stop it being a two way conversation between VAR and refs. VAR should not be able to hear the referee and therefore not influenced the decision
OMG manutd again. These guys, espn and Aftv are paid by manutd. One team cannot have so much airtime
Well they have to get together and decide between the on field and the VAR what rules they are going to in force.
Last year you wanted refs to be more brave regarding making their own decisions vs. The VAR decision… It was the refs initial thought though..
Earth is flat!
Search out for yourselves,
It's elysium!
Too little to late
OFCOARSE people are wary of very bold decisions because they know that the media (you guys) will crucify them AND to some extent they cop it no matter what they choose
Selective hearing – You hear what you want to for your click-bait
The Ref is talking to there Captain on the pitch when he says we dont give collisions
and The VAR Team go through it and Conclude rightly that it was an in air collision where they both came together if he (Onana) had collided with the header of the ball then yes a penalty
Can't believe they're still going on about this
Just scrap VAR. Destroys football.
I'd like Webb to be on the show with Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist, they'd say it how it is and they are very level headed football men.
This mob on here make refereeing a match seem like the most complicated thing in the world "we are trying" 😂 there's enough of them looking at the game, slow motion etc,why is it these decisions always seem to favour the top 6 clubs?🤔
Simon Jordan is a God.
VAR has wrecked football. Every single niggle during any game…..'VAR are checking that…'
A joke. Was only meant to be clear and obvious errors. Now it's EVERYTHING. Farcical.
if they can add all this time on at the end they should review these decisions and retroactively fix them like add a pen at the end of a match or something. they aren't bothered about making the game drag out longer. so time argument is not there.
No. I am not more accepting of mistakes. 1 clearly wrong error by var per month is 1 too many. they have the tools and aren't using them. make no mistake its not just a game and oh one goal doesnt matter. it could quite literally cost a team and a town millions in prize money. it matters a hell of a lot. every single decision. 3 VERY clearly wrong calls in the opening 4 matches is embarrassing. its not a small number by any stretch of the imagination. should be investigated for match fixing.
Dawson has headed the ball before Onana has collided with the players. The ball has been played. If the heads the ball into the goal do you disallow the goal and award the penalty? Hojlund was dragged over on Sunday clear foul, clear penalty. Nobody looked at it!!!
Typical Manchester United haters.
Surely, they could have picked a more recent video.
Makes me laugh, people forget all United success in early europe days, give the premier league 4 champions league spots.
Yanited had more points given from var.. then they have earnd yanited own var 💯
Well done Danny
It would help if players were to be booked or warned for encroaching the ref during decision or attempting to communicate without being asked to
Why has Danny stole Simons catchphrase 😂
What's missing here is slow motion footage that clearly shows that the ball was already headed away by the other Wolves player before the collision. Onana was clumsy but didn't actually rob Wolves of a goal. A penalty would have been a harsh decision and probably equally "wrong".
