  1. If only this team won anything since 1964 instead of making everything about political statements, bending the knee before every game, wearing rainbow armband and giving political interviews.
I mean nothing against LGBTQ+, or racism or any social issue that any person cares about, but as footballer on pitch, the game, professionalism, hard work and dedication to your craft should come foremost. And if you win it all, then feel free state your opinion, some will agree some will not – but don't expect to be the catalyst of a change if you just disappoint the whole nation every 2 years.

  2. Leave the guy be, the government do business with the Saudi Arabia! But know one says anything! Boycott Newcastle or Man City or PSG, who are own by Qatar and Saudi Arabia. You can defend lgbt and be an ally but the pressure on him is not fair.

  3. Why are sky sports getting so political. You don’t criticise govt for supporting illegal occupation of Palestine. An issue of injustice. Why so concerned with lgbt?

  4. What must he do, he has to fit in with their culture because its their country. He cant go there and tell them how they should feel towards LGBTQ cause its not his place. You cant force everyone to share your beliefs or you cancel them you nazis

  5. Why it's a must this things? Sexual isht in the games??? Dear Arab's buy all the good players and make us all switch to your league, where there's no such things…save the game and save our children's from the horror's of Europeans.

  6. Keeps politics out of football, respect other people's culture and stop trying to force an agenda. Henderson has the right to play anywhere he wants(in the twilight of his career)and provide for his family. That is the most important thing here.

  7. If I’m gay I’m not hopping for some random guy to stick up
For me look after yourself you don’t live in Saudi so stay in uk or USA and live your
Own life he’s gonna make more money than he’s make ever his family is in the safest country in the world possibly as there is no crime loads of footballers get robbed and bad stuff not In Saudi

  8. Wouldn’t loose sleepover Henderson moving to Saudi tbh. He helped the LGBTQ community more than the rest of the footballers do. I’m a Geordie too so that’s saying something

  9. He said in the interview he was ASKED to wear the shoes laces and armband, he was ASKED to help out with good causes. Imagine if he said 'No, because i might end playing in a middle Eastern country someday and dont want to be a hypocrite"
He'd have been called homophobic and booed playing for Liverpool.
    You cant win….

  10. Couldn’t actually care, football is football, LBGTQ is whatever, like support if you wish, if you don’t then that’s cool but don’t preach your hate. At the end of the day your man here is playing footy and getting paid an absolute packet, shout out to him, if you don’t like it then don’t hate, same way you don’t want people to hate on your decisions. You do what’s best for you
