I’ve been watching Sunderland for a while and, when they were promoted, I told my mates there’s no chance of them getting relegated yet they didn’t believe me. They definitely believe me now.
Two celebrations I've never understood in football.
First, Davis' for Watford's first goal. Just goes and stands in front of the Sunderland fans and stares at them. Trying to taunt the opposition almost always comes back to haunt you and makes you look stupid, as here because you didn't end up winning.
Second, taking your shirt off like Sunderland's second goal. I've always seen it as a bit disrespectful to tear off the shirt of the club you play for and throw it to the ground rather than celebrate in the colours and crest of your club. But I will say I think it's a stupid rule that it's a bookable offence. Like what is actually the transgression there?
Doing very well so far this season. Couldn't really ask for much more for a newly promoted team (considering our recent history).
Still got a load of moaners around saying we should be walking the league etc… I'd be happy this season if we finished anywhere in the top 13 really. Playoffs/promotion would be an added bonus of course.

Unbelievable really our 2 main men up front injured and still score 5 goals in 2 games. Versatile🔴⚪️🔴⚪️
And the 2 penalty shouts? Or the offside goal?

I love how the referee walks towards Bennette like a terminator after he scores his goal and removes his shirt.

Felt sorry for the young lad who did the OG, that's when you need your team mates support.

I just can't help think that this group of players are playing for each other and the shirt, not just the £££. 🔴⚪
