The other issue is Fati came of age when Barca were poor and thus he could afford to make mistakes. Now, Xavi won the lg and wants to continue the same formula: tight defense and boring football. I bet there is some kind of blow up in the dressing room after the game against Villarreal. Ansu forcing bad shots in 2v1 situation while Lewa is totally free. When Lewa complaints to him, Ansu idd not even want to look at him, and then when Lewa is supposed to pass to Ansu he doesn't do it. Two very clear goal chances gone. To make things worse, Ferran play his best football in limited minutes and the day after Lewa criticizing Xavi for fielding to many midfielders.
