Ambrabat will get the best out of Casemiro and Bruno if 10hag plays 4-2-3-1. He will run and support Casemiro in defence and get the ball to Bruno in dangerous areas. We need to stop changing players positions and use them for what they are. If they dont fit, sell them.

Everyone saying amrabat nd case in midfield…to me that's a pretty naive thing to say that, there is a reason why Erik ten hag wants mount nd to play with alongside Bruno as the second ten, now the issue with that is the middle of the pitch is always open with only casemiro left to be roasted 🤭 nd yh people will want to blame mount or bruno mostly mount saying he can't position to receive the ball ( thats not always the case) the thing is when we are with the ball or with possession if you notice only Lisandro gives the progressive passes so that the issue we only have one progressive passer (or two that's of u add onana, he can only give progressive passes when the team is in full control) that's why I think with hojlund in the team Nd signing of amrabat Erik will definitely continue with mount nd Bruno as ten, becus we nw have 3 progressive passers nd carriers in the back end of the pitch, in onana, lisandro, nd amrabat… Here is my line up going forward in this campaign

Rashford. Antony

Mount. Bruno

Amrabat

Shaw. Lisandro. Varane. Wanbi

I’d like to see a formation change to to a 4-4-2 diamond with the midfield of casemero, amrabat, Erickson, and Bruno with holund and rashford up front together. If rashford wants to play like a forward we should just let him with the ability and freedom to go wide

Cam I haven't even got to the tactical analysis yet (which i know will be good as usual) but you gotta learn to look directly at the camera. It shows confidence and engagement. You look away far too much

Nice break down and good to see but I disagree with the conclusion. No matter how good Amrabat is as a 6 no 6 can play with a Eriksen next to them in the premiership and be solid without the ball. Maybe City as they have so much possession and do anything possible to stop teams breaking on them. Amrabat can’t cover the whole defensive line so will need a partner in Casemiro and definitely when playing any decent team. A box of Casemiro, Amrabat, Martinez and Varane will allow both full backs to get forward giving us 6 attacking players which should be enough to threaten any team and give the length we need.

Amrabat has opposite stats for fiorentina and Morocco showing he has two different sides to his game and adaptability. Progressive for his club but defensive for Morocco. Can’t just look at one or the other,he does what is needed which is fantastic for utd

Amrabat won't change a SINGLE THING! he is not a significant upgrade to Eriksen or Case. WHat MUST change is ETH tactical game. How we're setting up for games, teams positioning is very poor tactically. Our midfielders are not the best in carrying the ball. I don't see how SA will change anything. When he plays it will be a reality check for fans to realize it's not a player problem it's a tactical problem.

I'd like a crack at this show. He forgot to add that Højlund will also make the space between the lines of the opposition defense-midfield-attack alot bigger because of the through ball threat he wil pose, his channel running and his hold up play because now the opposition center backs will have to follow him around creating spaces for Mount who makes alot of movements, Bruno who is always moving and thereby increasing the cautiousness of the opposition central midfielders agressive press through the center. They will now fear many more factors in our attacking patterns and have alot more ground to cover all the threats and hopefully the movements. Arsenal got caught pressing high when Garnachos disallowed goal came because of Højlund and Casemiro offering the threat through the center. Amrabat and Højlund will ad a huge threat through the middle we have not had in years with several players we've had and woth the speed we have up front (fastest attack of the top 6 i believe with Højlund, Rashford and Antony) there WILL BE TROUBLE FOR DEFENCES. If Rashford and Antony (if he stays out of jail😅) can have better decisions up front and don't waste possession and good offensive positions we will be complete 💯✅

Ten Hag came in spent 400 million to take United from a counter attacking team to counter attacking team. You can talk all you like but the fact the untouchables in the team are Rasford and Bruno, they cannot keep the ball, they are one dimensional players who lack technique and quality of world class players. They cannot play in tight spaces (against low block) Bruno cannot keep possession, cannot control the tempo or show up in big games yet he got the armband, can anyone tell me what’s that huddle before the kick off is all about ? What could they possibly talk about that they didn’t do in the dressing room. Rashford is good at running fast, shooting hard and cutting inside from the left that’s all. For someone who gets paid more than 300k a week, that I think is very limited ability.

Great analysis… honestly I think the best analysis can only be found on fan channels these days. The bbc Match of the day with Stephen Warnock on this particular game was lazy and quite simply disgraceful when you think my tv licence fee pays him.
