Gregg Berhalter began his 2nd cycle as USMNT coach with a terrible 3-0 win over Uzbekistan in St. Louis. The entire team looked robotic, void of ideas and completely out of sync. Endless crossing and possession did very little to create a meaningful impact on the game. Tac and I break it down.

I partly blame Pulisic and the players that opened their mouths to defend Berhalter and in supporting in bringing him back. Do the players even realize the difference is night and day? Shit Dave Sarachan did a much better job than this!

Uzbekistan is ranked 74th in the world, which is not a bad ranking. The truth is that the U.S. should be ranked between 25th & 35th in the world. Only money ensures that FIFA ranks the U.S.. team at 11th. God knows why Mexico is in 12th place. They were terrible in the qualifiers (much like the U.S.) and poor in the Nations cup. Some9ne is definitely greasing FIFA palms.

So, the U.S. media & fans somehow think that they are a lot better than they actually are. A 3-0 win over Uzbekistan is probably just about what you should expect.

I saw an iInterview with Flo asking about Berhalter. First thing he said was:
I can't believe the amount of detail he goes into. I've never had a manager go into so much detail. Mind you, this is a national team where consensus is that keeping it simpler is a good idea.
Oh behalf of American’s across the country, you cannot sell out a stadium because of the coach you chose. USMNT how can you not see that this is the worst you have played all year? We the people are not blind. Here in America we strive for greatness, and take pride in who we are. You cant expect the public to get behind a team 100% when in fact the USMNT doesn’t care to win. Wanna know why Miami is filling stadiums? Because they care to win? Simple thought, and the fact your actions show us in America how blinded you are is frustrating to us all. Personally as long as greg is the coach I will not attend a match. Please wake up and fix this.

GGG always makes it about himself, that's why the vibe is tight and fearful when he's coach, he's a constipated dude and no reason to expect that to change. We're stuck with Captain Constipation for now.
Im actually depressed because of GGG, the talent we have is enough for a semi-final finish in 2026, with Gregg we would be lucky to get past the rd of 16

The way the US played in the Nation’s League will haunt GGG. That was a level above anything GGG has produced.
