Madrid should go back to a 443 with Rodrygo as LW Joselu as CF and Valverde or Brahim as RW. Valverde could go anywhere like Ale said.
Barça simply got the best starting eleven in Liga even with the injuries. Only the pivot and the right winger are "just good enough" with Romeu and Raphinha. For the rest, we talking about top top players. Ter Stegen, Koundé, Araújo, de Jong, Cancelo, Gundogan, Gavi (1st choice : Pedri), Baldé, Lewandowski.
Madrid lining up Garcia, Kepa/Lunin, Camavinga (not at the level of Pedri, Gundogan or de Jong), Rodrygo is like our Raphinha and Carvajal aint the same anymore + now Kroos and Modric are clearly on the bench.

One of Real Madrid's biggest problem is the lack of squad depth in the attacking pisitions and the lack of a quality target man upfront. If eiter one of vinicius or Rodrygo gets injured then they are doomed.

Regarding the classico debate one option would be, play Yamal as RW, Araujo as his defensive cover. Instead of Balde, play Cancelo in left wingback role, and the usual 4 midfielders. Creativity from right is from Lamine, and from left is from Cancelo.

Don't think Cancelo is that bad of a defender as everyone says he is. He's had some errors, but most defenders have them, maybe even less than a handful. He's certainly not a Harry Maguire.
Regardless his biggest flaw is mental, he's easy to anger and outspoken. All his teammates refer to that, and that's probably what gets him in trouble with his managers.
Ale got it spot on. He's an upgrade to all the alternatives Barca has. Heinsight, they got go for a back 3 to give him room in going forward and be covered behind

He is one of the best fullbacks in the modern era. He is one of the most talented City players, which tells you a lot how good he is. I really don't understand what happened behind the scenes to make managers not want to play him. Especially now that KDB is injured and Walker can't pass a ball to save his life, Haaland would have a field day getting on the end of Cancelos crosses.
