All I have to do is see Southgate at one of our matches and I just know that we’re about to have a shocker. As for Pope, he is a good keeper, but if he wants to put it in row Z, let him put it in row Z. That’s what I’d say to him if I was manager. I think Keepers need to feel that it’s their goal and the manager is standing in front of them watching, instead of behind them and expecting a certain style of play. Modern managers seem obsessed with playing out, I’d give Pope the freedom to get rid when he wants, command his area the way he feels comfortable. He’ll come good.
If Eddie thinks that pope need someone to put his head strait he eill get someone. We as fans must do what is needed, love, support, and be positive, and he will improve again. I'm more worried about his hand.

I think with Pope he is a little erratic with kicking at times but like you said Chris , he is definitely a much better keeper than short arms Jurassic Pickford.
Atm Pope is making everyone panic with his needless punches and wild clearance's, when we surrender possession so easily it makes it much harder
