As a Brazilian I can say that there are two groups of haters against Neymar:
1) Ppl that hate him because he stated that he would vote for Bolsonaro and evade taxes (the big majority of the haters comes from this)
2) Ppl that think he is too much of an arrogant and “dribble show off guy” so that it destroys the quality of the team and it’s opportunities

The big reason why for this time is that Neymar, instead of being focused in the preparation to the world cup, went in a live to support Bolsonaro, our current stupid president. Brazil is devided nowadays because of the recently elections and these childish and silly behaviors are why Neymar is not an unanimous idol for us. Of course he is a great player, but what he does extra field sometimes doesn't make us cheer him up.
