As for Sanchez, I know looks like no replacement defender was brought in other than the young lad Phillips. I will trust Ange on this,am sure he'll improvise. If Son remains uninjured, he’ll be an absolute godsend. No doubt he could replace Kane’s impact. Plus, with the goals coming from unexpected positions under AngeBall, the pressure wouldn’t entirely be on him anyhow. We’ve always struggled when injuries plague us though. That’s my only concern. Statistically there is no better finisher in Europe than Son over last 8 seasons except last season. His goal conversion rate is three times more than Kane and every year he overperform his xG. His pressing is also underrated. Against Burnley he had 49 presses resulting in 11 Burnley turnovers. A fit son (hopefully recovered from sports hernia and orbit fracture) should receive the most scoring opportunities because he is the best finisher on the team regardless of position. Kulu has a right foot lol. Just off the top of my head look at the first couple mins of the ManU game when he crossed with his right foot all the way to Sonny who missed the volley. Against Burnley early on he did a low cross to Solomon, it wasnt a great pass, but it was there. I agree his final ball has continued to be off this season. But he is a top top talent.

If you look since Ange came including pre season , Kane son and richi have all scored hat tricks playing in the number 9. If they play his system correctly the 9 will always score

One thing people miss big time about Ange is although he comes off as really friendly and easy going he's VERY direct when it comes to the players on his team. He doesn't want players "as cover" or "for profit (Spence)" on his team at all. Sanchez four years ago would've made sense and Ange could've worked with him. Right now though he desperately needs to go somewhere and play football and that's not going to happen at Spurs. Ange is more than willing to give opportunity's to players that are working hard to see if they can contribute, ie. Phillips and Royale playing CB because long term that's how you win. Pep does exactly the same thing, he's always playing guys and giving them chances to prove themselves.

Ange hasn't let Levy sign anybody because "it was a good deal" or as a cheap cover option if he doesn't think that player can be a big part of the squad. Spurs previous managers just let Levy bring in anybody and then didn't use them or complained. Ange does neither, so while it sucks having a huge lack of depth right now at CB the advantage is we're not just filling in with average players just for the sake of it and blocking the pathways of better players. We're also setting ourselves up to be able to go out and make January moves for guys that are available.

Of course, Kane is a world class player and has contributed a lot for us. But he's already gone where he wants to be.

Son played with the striker who had the most shots in the Premier League. But now the shots will be distributed to more players. Don't forget he led us to the top 4 and Champions League final without Kane. He has contributed much more than we can remember, and I think he can take us to a higher level with OUR team that has become stronger.
