I honestly cannot understand why he doesn’t start. Said it for the longest time the lad has quality. I dunno if he falls out with klopp or he doesn’t train well or whatever it is the lad is always just a throw on option as he was yesterday at Newcastle. He wasnt a well thought out tactical sub, he’s a complete shithouse wildcard but I cannot fathom why he doesn’t get a chance. If he doesn’t start next game (which I doubt he will) think the scousers will be rioting and rightly so. And if you’re not going to use a player like that he’s gonna become despondent and not care anymore and you couldn’t blame the lad for that either

it’s sounds stupid saying all he needed was finishing because a lot of people would say that’s the main thing a striker needs but that’s really all he needs. In terms of getting himself chances he’s on par with haaland, they both get 3/4 decent chances a game it’s just the difference is haaland scores half of those and nunez scores maybe 1/4 of them. You can’t teach positioning or pace but u can improve finishing and ofcourse he’s shown glimpses of great finishing

I was thinking the same even last season …. Why is he missing so many chances without thinking how is he getting so many chances …. His positioning is insane and the runs he makes is ridiculous ….. I’m still not convinced but if he does convert his chances then surely at least 30 goals !
He got the best out of a few goalkeepers last season as well. I think he had a perfect storm of obstacles preventing him from finding form, starting with the Red card, Liverpool's shit form and then niggling injuries, but it was always evident that he is a goal scorer.
People dont understand that it might be hard to come to Europe and get used to the language, country and the league. Its just unfair to judge a young man in one season which wasnt even all that bad.
I was watching our fans when others clubs fans decided to label him a flop and, all i saw was a sly smile.. Not many pf our fans wrote him off because we KNOW humble pie is arriving very very soon..
