After a year long investigation the CPS admitted that if the case had gone to trial the verdict would have been not guilty, based on the evidence they had uncovered. The club’s own investigation also found that he was ‘not guilty of the crimes he had been charged with’. But truth and evidence mean nothing to the media mob who were determined to destroy his career. Sadly the weak spineless people who run the club gave in to the mob.
