  1. Berhalter is like the Southgate of USA. Always picking favorites, always the boring tactics that never work. We should’ve gotten another manager, this guy is not even a proven manager, literally uses “soccer” tactics from the 90s that have not aged well.

  2. Gregg:

I backed you for a long time. People labeled you as tactically conservative, unimaginative, and managerially tone deaf. All of those observations are fair.

BUT, you did get some results. You were at the helm when the USMNT overtook Mexico as the regional power. You won trophies. You got us back to the WC, where your squad emerged from the group undefeated and was unfortunate not to beat England. How much of all this happened because of you, as opposed to in spite you, is subject to fair debate. However, these things happened on your watch, therefore it is fair to list them on your CV.

But, the Reyna situation is unexcusable. It furthermore casts a shadow over your accomplishments, and highlights your weaknesses in bold type.

You should resign and take the reins of a mid table MLS club. That's your lane. You do not belong at the helm of a national team which aspires to become a global elite.

Nothing personal. Like I said – I doggedly took up for you when were meme fodder. No more.

  3. A LOT of people at US Soccer are going to need to resign after the disaster that will be Copa America. I just can’t believe they spent all that time and money just to go rehire this MF. Simply stunning.

  4. This is a team game and the media is making a big deal about an entitled kid that his parents tried to blackmail the coach for him to be in the World Cup 😂 he’s not a messi or Ronaldo and stays hurt. Really nothing to talk about here no player is above the team

  5. That’s what Gio gets for letting his parents into this what did he expect? You’re a pro player deal with it on your own don’t ran to mommy and daddy 😂

  6. Yo, I get it. Gregg speaking up first might rub some fans the wrong way, but like, give Gio a chance to share his thoughts too! Maybe FantaClaus can help 'em out ✌️🤖

  7. Oh my got this guy is so lost as if all this was Berhalter's fault! Lets not forget all this BS started from the Reyna's family side

  8. Herc is exactly right. First call. First Text. First mea culpa…Gio! Worst thing you can tell a player before any games….you're not playing!???? He's not a great coach or communications expert! He's a self-obsessed egotist who should put players first and not his own needs. Herc is dead on.

  9. Lol Gio's parents tried to destroy this man's life. Beyond the whole why is he the coach of the team let's be real here, Berhalter has every reason to take whatever time it takes him to forgive these people.

  10. Send this H.S coach out of here He is literally ruining our best generation. There are 1000's of coaches on his level but it might be decades before we have this kinda talent at a similar age range, Berhalter is the worst thing that has happened to the US football (soccer)

  11. I went from us hoping to win the Copa America to now hoping we get blown out every game if it means Berfarter out. I honestly cant believe what a joke of a federation US Soccer is. We finally have a squad who can compete, Copa America and WC 2026 on the horizon, and you hire the same guy who left 5 months ago and who has real issues with Gio Reyna & Pepi 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ I also hate Berfarter for taking the job knowing he is not liked by the fanbase.

  12. The US is a complain culture. The players trust and like berhalter (minus Gio). Reyna did act like a little bish in the WC over not playing and his family is toxic. For the next World Cup GGG is the right man. Truth bomb
