If you can guarantee he'll stay healthy, Embiid is definitely the right pick, but you can't, so I'd pick Tatum as well.
Tatum isn't the better player, but I think he's an easier player to build around because of age/health, he can play more than 1 position, and he's also gonna be a top 3 player eventually. Embiid is better rn, but a ball dominant center is just not really an ideal way for a nba team in this era
