Havertz is naturally an AM, not a CM or a ST. Chelsea didn't played him in position because Tuchel didn't used one and later because the club didn't had a good striker. All teams have one or more bad signing but the problem with Mikel is that he wants to prove that signing Harvetz was the best decision while the team is not functioning well.
Harvetz was supposed to slowly being integrated in the team by being brought on in the last 10 mins and carabao matches.
Havertz at least starts 7-8 games, Arteta is not going judge a 65m signing by 3 games, remember it took him an 8 game winless run to replace a shit Willian with ESR, it was 17th game of the season in December.

Havertz is a decent player, his finishing and final pass have a lot of room for improvement though. I think he would be a good backup to Odegaard in non-league games, but should not be starting if the squad is healthy.

One of the issue for Arsenal last season was they had only one way to play and it was always to play their Top IX and just be better. Well when the team was starting to fall back and needed a spark of something, it was way too late for them to start exploring new things.
I'm not pretending that Havertz has proven his worth to keep getting opportunities, but they do need to figure out what other options they have that can help them figure things out the moment their best isn't going to win the league and Havertz is potentially an option that gives them choices to try. You have to figure out if you have something there, or everything involving his signing was a massive failure. I don't personally think it's Artetta trying to be defiant, but it'd be really crappy if early in the season he doesn't try everything he can. IF he was doing this in March or April then this is sack-worthy for them.
Sure, the best choice would've been to not sign him for so much in the first place after his time Chelsea was so underwhelming but when he's on the team already you have to try it.
It's actually a lie to say Kai in the starting eleven has Partey played th RB position.Partey played the RB position in the three matches at the end of last season when Zenni was injured.Havertz is in the team to occupy the position been left by Xhaka . The only player in the squad who has a similar profile to Xhaka and even better in the attacking third.
Please don't be blinded with his experience at Chelsea, he offers more in both boxes with set pieces with his height and has been used a a target man for long balls.I see these things and think he is so important to this Arsenal team.

Managers don't do what fans ask for because they aren't even listening to the fans, they block all that out. The Havertz signing was simply to replace Xhaka, but even though Harvertz has more potential than Xhaka he fundamentally lacks Xhaka's mental strength. Harvertz is a data signing, not a performance signing. He will fail if Artera doesn't get the psychological aspect of managing him right. Personally, I believe Havertz just doesn't have a big club mentality. Compare him to Rice and you'll see that instantly.

I'm not a Havertz fan, but Arteta said himself in a recent post match interview "He gets into good positions and never receives the ball. He should have scored many times already".
The Different Knock channel did a video on this way before this interview, recognising the same thing. "Havertz keeps running into good spaces, but our players don't see it or think it's too risky to give him the ball so another pass is made".
He scored 2 in pre-season and was instrumental in making it difficult for city to play out from the back in the community shield.
So in essence, his off the ball movement is pretty good, once the team recognises this the goals should come.
Well that remains to be seen. At the end of the day I just want to see results and right now he's not producing any, but this does give me hope going forward.
I would say playing partey at right back is because he wants a full back to invert the timber injury and zinchenko not ready to start is the reason heβs playing there, if partey is still at right back when zinchenko starts Iβll be baffled
