      It makes perfect sense. He'll be a back-up striker with minimum wage. Can play Europa league group stage to give rest to league starters.
      And if we are looking his 4 goals last season don't forget Belotti scored none 😂. He's definitely better than Belotti in that regard. Have you seen Thomas Mueller a German legend his physique a tall lanky fellow.

      Are the fans this stupid. Its not like Freidkins and Pinto don't want to spend they just can't spend due to UEFA sanctions and Financial fair play rule.
      Oh there is also that if when Freidkin took over Roma they could have easily paid the debt if they wanted but they are here for business not for charity.

      Simon………………….I think we are getting upset to early here. This guy is a make weight! I think they want Leonardo in January and they are thinking that if Abraham is not the player he was after coming back in the new year then they plan to sell and make some money from that, probably back to Chelsea? But I truly believe that Belotti will come up with the goods this season

      Sardar Azmoun is not that bad! Sure, his spell wasnt that good at leverkusen, but he was injured for a while. When he played, he played quite well. In 8 starts he scored 4 and assisted 1. And remember that at Zenit he was phenominal, back when the russian league was on a much higher level than it is now! He is better than Shomurodov and Belloti, and Mouinho wants him. Even when he was at zenit he wanted him, and he clearly wants him now! If Azmoun can stay fit, he can play til march, then be a 2nd option for the rest of the year! And if he dosent work, you buy someone else in January. And if he does, you can buy him next summer. He is also not old at 28 yrs old. Hes not the striker weve wanted, sure. But he isnt the afwul player you describe him as.

      It's not a big name but I'm not worried about us this season. Belotti is scoring and we kinda have squad depth so the only thing we need to do is play more confident and we'll have a better season thab last.

      Mourinho himself tried to make a deal for him back in 2021 and again yesterday he called him to join Roma. He can't be that weak. Another centre forward will come before September 1th.

      This situation is caused by the incompetent Pinto. He haggle over a few millions for a good striker and ended panicking in the last days of transfer market for a relative unknown striker which Leverkusen they themselves doesn't want. Roma should sack Pinto, he is really letting José and the team down.

      Simo, your disappointment in this signing is unjustified because you don't know him – so you fear the worst.
      I trust that our manager knows what he is doing.
      He has taken Roma to 2 consecutive European Finals so why question him now?
      Azmoun will do the job that Morata was intended to do – bringing other players into the play while also being a decent finisher.

      If azmoun is in the roma shirt then i will support him right away regardless of what he could be or no be…..
      Given how difficult the window has been, Tiago pinto has really tried thou it would be disappointing if roma lose out on marcos Leonardo

      Simon, the fact that you said Azmoun is short and weak clearly means you don't know about the player. He's 186 cm tall and good in the air. He has a strong header. In fact, back in 2021, Mourinho wants him at Roma before instead we sign Shomurodov. Yes, he's not Lukaku but in our situation right now, we need to be realistic. And I actually glad that we don't buy Atalanta nonsense when they wants us to sign Zapata permanently. I praise Pinto for this.
