Best of luck to Jordan! He deserves his one final big payday, and wouldn’t be getting much game time at L’pool anymore . What a great captain he was – brought in so many trophies for the fans.

One of best captains the club has had in the last 20 Yrs. Captains don’t have to be the best player, the most flair, the most athletic, the best goal scorer. I’m that regard, Gerard was a rarity. Jordan lead from the front for the club and he has been a superb servant to LFC. There is a desperation amongst many to elevate people to mythical statuses, “worlds best, legend, greatest”. They are superb athletes who can play the game to a fantastic standard. They are not “gods!”

Jordan Henderson is the best sideways passer in the PL. I hope he takes his asthma pump with him because he could choke in Saudi. Henderson is a piano shifter, not a piano player. Im going to miss him standing and shouting at players who suffered injuries and his beautiful way of chatting with referees will be missed.

Obviously he is a PL Legend. Kante is not a sexy player either but I am dying on the hill that says he is also a PL Legend.
He has been with us through our successful times but he never carried the team and wasn't really a game changer. I think he's ruined his own legacy by taking a Saudi retirement package, Big respect to Milner for staying in the PL working hard wanting to stay in the best league, Hendo is a sell-out! Gone to be forgotten for the cash only.. Don't pretend otherwise. Gerrard also ruined his chances of a successful top manager because he's taken the cash instead of the hardwork

The only thing I am sad about Jordan leaving is the fact that we did not give him a proper send off. Absolute class! People choice of place of work is 100% their CHOICE! If you think him going or not going to Saudi makes any difference in Saudi's stance on human rights or LGBTQ rights, then you probably have not travelled or been informed well. Henderson's influence is in Liverpool and may be, if any, in England. An Englishman trying to influence policy or culture abroad, rings a very familiar yet extremely uncomfortable memory in other parts of the world.

Even though im excited with the new signings Liverpool have made , that midfield of hendo fab and gini helped us dominate teams and protect the defence, since then klopp has bought a different type of midfielder more technical but less workmanlike and its exposed the defence and stopped us winning the ball high and getting it to the forwards quicker

He was the voice on the pitch, the leader and drove the tempo in this recent spell of Liverpool success. A valuable part of the jigsaw of players Klopp put together which had a mix of industrious, skillful, clever and also world class players. He fitted more into the industrious type. As a Captain and leader harder to replace than as a footballer. Bit unexpected but a reality that he's at the back end of his career. Gerrard came to the end of his Liverpool career and it was a worrying time. Henderson with the help of a good manager carried that arm band very well.

Criminally underrated as a footballer. Great passing in all ranges, great game IQ and constant energy. Can’t blame him for taking 700k a week. Sad he’s gone but will always love him.every team needs a Henderson.
No hes not a premiere league legend. League legends arent just guys who won everything, but guys who were genuinely world class for years and thats not hendo for me. He was a good player, great at his peak, but never world class. Hes one of those guys thats a club legend for sure but doesnt belong in that category of genuine legends like a ferdinand, or a rooney or gerrard.
