You're on point. Nothing like caceido or nothing. Remember Lukaku the missing piece, spend the money, unfinished project… But today the rest is history. Only recently cucurela and fofana .. we should not allow Brighton to rip us again.
The question about a potential Mbappe signing is, is he going to disrupt our dressing room? Is he going to be on a £500k a week salary? What would his high salary mean for our current wage structure?
Moreover, since Kylian mostly plays on the left, is this going to slow down the momentum and development of our current skilled left wingers?
I do understand that he has a high market value and Chelsea can strike lucrative sponsorship deals because we have Mbappe in our team.
These are questions for reflection before we consider bringing this brother in on loan.
Why couldn't we take that 20mln we paid for Sanchez,added onto the 80mln we have set aside for Caicedo ,as Caicedo is our priority?
Thereafter,we could have gone for Sanchez,since it's true that Kepa is a let down, all day long.
You have wonderfully done a brilliant analysis about our current situation today. Caicedo is a wonderful young midfielder but we can live without him and surprisingly discover a gem amongst the likes of santos,casedei,ugochukwu if we are patient and able to trust all these talented youngsters. Tyler adams is another great option.
I don’t think Caicedo worths £100m for one season hit. Caicedo may be good but if Chelsea don’t want to pay £100 they should move on. I am sure there are other unknown or untapped talents out there. By the way I still believe Chelsea may already have a good DM in young Santos. Is Chelsea allergic to young talents, give Santos and Ugochukwu the opportunity. Chelsea should learn to take a risk… Brighton took a risk on Caicedo and see him after one season we are talk £100m. Caicedo is 21yrs old so why not Santos or Ugochukwu.
