  1. It is messis fault. He’s a foot taller and your expecting there too be no little scraps. There isn’t any excuse for being a prick and making a man (whos trying to apologise even though he did nowt wrong) cry

  2. all of you are wrong, messi’s team mates made a big deal and that’s what made messi think that player wanted to fight but he only wanted to show respect to him.

  3. If Weghort would have kept his chin down, humble, respectful and not be staring angrily then Messi would not have said anything, and the two athletes could have resolved the issue and become friends.

  4. Yea I’m sure the whole story not here for that Dutch to be standing there with an unfriendly stare and who knows what he said on the pitch yea I’d say hard to shake hands after that as well

  5. Messi always takes pictures with opponent and congratulates them after a match that's why the world wanted to hear why in this particular instance he was insulting him instead
Please don't compare this to Ronaldo case, even tho Ronaldo was mistreated it's a different circumstance
The Netherlands coach, some players and ex players really disrespected Messi and his country as a whole.
So had beef with them since the whistle blew. We barely see Messi lose his cool off the field🤷🏾‍♂️
Hope that explained things a bit

  6. If weghorst wanted to apologize that badly, he shouldnt have came in with that death glare towards messi, he should have calmed down a bit, put a calmer face and get close to messi. But the match was really spicy, so that is relatable. Although Messi said he didnt mean to disrespect him. I think they did sorry to each other, eventually.

  7. Weghorst the biggest clown on the football field. A real showman on the pitch. Always busying with provoking other players instead playing real actual football. He's a crybaby who loves to be in the center of attention.

  8. I saw another video, it was actually at the end of the second half. As soon as the whistle went, weghorst looked at messi and said something. Then Messi had to be calmed down by Van Dijk and Ake.
Not sure a copy of that video is in youtube as the original got taken down.

  9. But fact is during the match the entire Argentine team played in a way that shouldn’t be respected and I will never respect it, unnecessary hand balls and pushing are not part of football either but they are making it

  10. That’s why I hate shorts. Any fool can edit it to make somebody seem bad. His “death stare” happened well after Messi called him a fool.
If you want to have an opinion on something you have to watch the full thing, if you don’t, sit down with your mouth closed and listen.
