Its sounds bad because youre hearing 100 mil. 100 mil for Maguire back in the day is what you valued him at. Now any relatively good player is 100 mil so every player sold this season will by definition be a flop. Haaland and Mbappe should be 100 mil not Declan Rice. So Maguire is still a worse by in terms of overrating him. Antony is just one of many bs transfers. He shouldve been 50-60 mil. And he still does good work for United. Blame the other bums for once like Trashford and Bruno and Shaw. Its always the same players getting hate. McFred carried your midfield and its not to say Mount is bad but he should be playing where Bruno is and he's younger and better. United fans have this delusion about Bruno. Portuguese fans will tell you how bad he is.

Maguire is a defender, and a lot of his errors have to do with the system, based on the fact that he is not an OBVIOUS liability when he plays for England.
For an attacker it is different, because making the right pass and scoring goals has NOTHING to do with a system.
Diego Maradona dribbled through an entire team and scored goals. Harry Kane moved to Bayern and he is already scoring and supplying his team mates with delicious passes.
Being an attacker is mostly up to the individual player.
I don't even buy the "but but but he didn't get any service…" excuse that some fans make for attacking players.

Ridiculous statement because Maguire was basically 12th man for other teams with him getting in the way of his team mates, wrestling them down, making many of his team mates bleed from their skull. in 21/22 I remember him scoring own goals or doing mistakes that led to goals as a competition to Ronaldo scoring, he was like "you score or create a goal. I can do the same on our own goal"… I have never seen such a thing in my life, I think there should be a pichichi of own goals or mistakes that were so bad that led to goals & name it "Maguire".
People forget in Maguire has been at United for 4 seasons. In Harry's first and most of his second season he was United's best defender. Antony has been United's worst attacker since hes been at the club. (After Weghorst who was a loan signing)
