I feel like last season Ramsdale’s performances took a slight hit when people questioned his confidence. Just like Tim Howard said “I need to focus on not making a mistake otherwise I’m out of the team”
As someone who watches every arsenal game, it's definitely time to give someone else a chance. I have never seen Ramsdale complete 90 mins without at least one or two major errors.

Look at it this way if Ramsdale gets injured ? I would rather have Raya in goal instead of Turner. If you look at last season Ramsdale was solid made some great saves but he also made some silly mistakes and he’s a keeper what loses focus fast he even admitted it in a interview with Ben Foster. I think competition will be good for Ramsdale focus and for Arteta its a win win situation because he will have 2 great goalkeepers
When Arsenal were signing Ramsdale to compete with Leno, Tim Howard called Ramsdale average and not good lol. Howard isn't a voice of reason 😂
If arsenal not sign raya fast,madrid would sign him after curtois injury. It is not only about tactical issue but also investment and market opportunity,when you would get top EPL proven gk for £30m?next season if raya sign 4-5 years contract he would worth more than £50m.
Raya looked faster and better on his feet and very explosive in his dives than Ramsdale in the practice clips I saw.
Different keeper for a different type of game.
One keeper can play in the league and another in the cup games. That has happened every season.
