      It's because Zidane, Gareth had hard time in Real Madrid. He openly said in press conference that Gareth should leave. When he left for Tottenham on loan, he was stripped off from his no 11 shirt and was given to Asensio.When he came back he was given 18. And many other reasons culminated over time.
      He's a legend of the club undoubtedly. Its because of his crucial goals they won 2 Champions Leagues. And his contribution was immense for other titles too. Zindane as a player for Real Madrid contributed very less than what Bale did for the club.

      One more highlight of Bale's career, final day of 2020/21 season Chelsea destroyed by Aston Villa 2-1, but Bale for Spurs ripped apart Leicester towards the end to secure the top 4 for Chelsea, ahead of Leicester even though we lost our own game
