Josko had very unusual path as young player.
Not many people know he played various positions thru all his young career. He was playng regularry as winger or midfielder untill being promoted to Dinamo Zagreb first team. He was always skillfull with the ball and thats where his composure on the ball comes from. With his physicalities, speed and tackling he is perfect match for Peps sistem. Even their names matches perfectly when translated first one and the last one. City got themselfs beast for next 10+ years.
