Nottingham Forest #nffc are about to complete their 3rd signing of the transfer window, with #arsenal goalkeeper Matt Turner set to complete a move to the City Ground for a fee to be reported around the £7 million mark.
The USA international has rarely featured for Arsenal but it highly thought of on the International level, and is first choice for his country. With Arsenal close to completing the signing of Raya from Brentford, Turner knew his playing time would be even more limited, and has decided to join Forest to seek further #premierleague game time.
Does this rule Nottingham Forest out of the Dean Henderson deal? well apparently not, it is reported that Forest are still keen to complete the signing of Henderson from Manchester United, as boss Steve Cooper’s plan was always to bring in 2 experience keepers this summer.
In other news former fan favourite Djed Spence might be available this summer, with reports coming out of Tottenham that they are happy to listen to offers for the right wing back, in order to raise funds for their new manager. Other rumours circulating today is regarding two Stuttgart players, Borna Sosa is an exciting left back who Forest have been monitoring for a while, and it is believed a fee of around £13 million would be needed to bring him to Forest.
Serhou Guirassy is the other Stuttgart player Forest are monitoring, the Guinea International striker has a release clause around the £15-20m mark, and at 27 years old is well experienced, he scored 14 goals last season in the Bundesliga. So with a proven track record of scoring goals this could be an excellent signing to add depth to our front line for coming season.

If BJ does go to Spurs (a real possibility) DS could be a sweetener on the deal. I would definitely have DS back as I've mention a thousand times. He clicked under SC and for Forest. He's possibly the brightest spark for the England u21's.. My concern is, if he was only part of a deal for BJ (a player he helped to advertise) would DS develop a chip on his shoulder for being valued only a fraction of BJ?? Well I wouldn't complain if I saw a SC formation with DS on the right or the left!!! If anyone can bring out the best in DS, I wouldn't bet against SC being the one.

Well if it is for between £5-£7M then yes I would be up for Djed Spence as long as Cooper and BJ both stay as I feel he would be amazing yet again under Coops as long as BJ stays cos then he would bring the best out of him full stop. But as I said, only if low price as wouldn't want to pay anything more than that and nothing like the amount Spurs paid for him, but knowing Levy I reckon he would want more nearer the £15-£20M as he is a money grabber. Just look at what he turned down for Kane, even though he only has 1 year left on his contract yet he won't drop from his £100M+ price tag even though he has been offered £85M ish plus add ons! That is crazy and just so damned greedy as things stand. That's ridiculous too seeing as he will go for nothing to another Prem league club next season so he is just cutting off his nose to spite his face especially if he is still holding out the hope Kane will sign a new contract with them which just won't happen full stop!
Where Spence is concerned it all depends on how much £. If they can do a good deal especially a loan to buy at the end of the season deal then I would support it. I think Aurier will be off to the desert next season to get himself a final pay day and Spence would be a better long term option. I am desperate for us to get another striker but they have to have the pace to be able to live with Johno and Elanga. Wood can be a hold up player if we need one but we need competition / cover for Taiwo both for injury and ACN.
Hope the Brazilian CB has a decent temperament – I have real worries about the new rules for bookings and dissent as we could end up with a fair few suspensions in the beginning of the season if anyone is not ice cool.

Got Turner! Next best thing, happy! Guirassy is talented, but a bit of risky. I just saw his Panenka penalty style on YT, brilliant. He can dribble and pass, yet risky when it's not working well, meaning he can have quite a personality. If he and Scarpa and Elanga could combine well without mistakes, we're close to sky's the limit, because these sort of players can trouble the likes of the Big 4!
