Ain't no way! Onana is one of my favorites from last season. Only way this works is if Man U offer up one of their unwanted players in exchange. Yes fans will howl over that idea, but we can't attract top club talent any other way at the moment.
Its tricky Onana can give us funds for Gnonto and other forwards however his most suitable replacement someone like a gallagher is already a 45-50 million player as it is so if Everton sell Onana we have to alsp buy forwards while replacing him which is another issue on itself so I have no clue what the right thing to do is. If we are going to sell him I say line up a midfielder now but its just so tricky
I suppose a potential option Everton could do is sell Onana use the money for forwards and maybe get in that kid from City on loan maybe with an option that Mctee kid who probably wonāt get much game time there. But its still a massive risk would rather keep
Efc need a top striker. If the red devils offer mctominay plus 25 million then efc should accept. The 25 million will be able to buy beto. Sell gray and the money from this funds for gnoto .
It's silly money being paid these days & I would not want Onana to go, if United offer McTominay & Maguire & Ā£50 Million I'd think about it šš¤£š COYB.
Why would Onana go to Man U from Everton that's going backwards???????? Everton are a joke club run by comedians apart from Kenwright who is an Expert. of course, just ask Simon Jordan.
Everton cannot sell Onana as he is an asset to the club. He apart Doucoure n Gueye are the midfielders to keep with him as the successor to the later both. I will be disappointed if the club suddenly showed the appetite of buying (Chermiti, Harrison, Beth, Gnoto, Ekitite) because with selling Onana in mind.
Onana is the same type of player as Fellani. Would like him to stay but we need a striker that hits the ground running. Don't want any United rejects because we are tired of overpaid mercenaries.
It would be absolutely stupid to sell onana to man u especially now! Not much time to haggle over the money involved and no doubt they won't value him as much as we do, then replacing him if they give us north of 60mil. Impossible to do at this stage, I think if he stays and develops into the league style he'll be worth a lot more.
We already have a better centre midfielder at the club ( James garner ) but he plays right back or right wing under dyche. Onana has done nothing I donāt see anything in him apart from his physicality he never scores heās not mobile heās overrated Iād cash in for 65million itās daylight robbery.
The money from a sell will go down the drain, or Kenwright/Moshisis pockets. They will NEVER be invest them in the squad, will propably come some half decent old guy on loan from China as a "replacement".
I'm feeling very worried and nervous about this transfer link Rose, unfortunately, this one could rumble on until 11pm on the 31st August. it's well known that we have very little money at the moment, so my fear is that if United bid 50-60 million he'll go. Hopefully we'll stay strong and keep him, however it'll be an anxious 2 weeks now waiting to see what happens. thanks for the update Rose. John. šš¤š
Looking at some of the prices midfielders have gone for….half of those names you mentioned …lavia from Southampton is going for 60 …. Onana is easy 80….i cam see the old bill kenwright trick happening sell him for big backs with about 2 days left of the transfer then bring nobody in and fill our heads full of shite we was linked with him tried getting then the cash will vanish
He came here to learn from and work with Frank. I dont feel Dyche is enough of a magnet to keep him here. So he will go. BUT it must be at a decent price, to keep us ship-shape with FFP.
Like it or not our shite Board, inept owner and dangerous management have made us into a relegation fighting, selling club
I canāt see him leaving this transfer window to be honest but you canāt rule it out itās Everton weāre talking about after all š have you heard the sad news Rose that a worker as died working on the Bramley Moore Stadium šš
He's one of our best players and if that bloke from Brighton(Caicedo) is worth £115 million (ridiculous amount!), then so is Onana (on potential alone). Do we want to get relegated or what? We need to keep all our best players, and if he achieves anywhere near his potential in the years to come he'll be a truly great player, and we will regret selling him!! Also, he said he's happy here.
Do we really have to sell? Has it come to this? This will only be his second season in the Premiership, and this is the season he should kick on and show his class. He's what, 21? If he could add goals to his game (no reason he shouldn't) and become a box to box midfielder (as he describes himself already, but he isn't there yet) we'll have a "world beater". He'd be wasted as a purely "defensive" midfielder.
Man Utd can f off and get someone else. I'm sick of clubs trying to get our players on the cheap because of the financial mismanagement from our joke of a board!!! Quote them £100 million, and see if they like that!!!!
I wouldn't be worried about Onana, Rose!š United have been after Amrabat, since the beginning of the window. Hojlund was the main target. They shall move for Amrabat next. A few have said he has already agreed terms….and I assume the transfer fee will be around Ā£25m. Sangare(from PSV) is also an option for them.
A huge overhaul is not ideal for us yet. Focus on the attacking department this summer. Massively disrupting the squad, is not ideal imo. Harrison is Gray's replacement. Gnonto is Gordon's(from my perspective), a new striker shall take the place of Cannon. He will go out on loan, once we have the new striker in. Maupay needs to find a team that plays to his strengths.
The AFCON may cause an issue for us. Gana, Doucoure, and Iwobi…. 3 gone for a month or so. Garner, Onana, Onyango, and Dele. They would be the only lads to take over the midfield. That's hoping Dele has fully recovered and in the managers plans. Harrison can play as a no.10. Maybe dyche plays a 4-4-1-1, with Danjuma acting as a second striker.
Zaniolo is a good signing for villa. I wanted us to get him last, summer.š
Never mind strikers and bloody wingers we're desperate for a central midfielder who can control and dictate the game from the middle of the park because we haven't got one
Outside of Pickford and Onana(due to his potential) i don't see any other player that could interest other teams so it's not that surprising that we haven't sold anyone yet. Onana must stay imo.
Girl forget about Everton before itās to late⦠Your wasting your life following us lot.. Weāre a load garbage an it aināt changing for the foreseeable decades
I would take that money for Onana who has done nothing yet. McAllister was only 35m a world cup player and proven Prem player. Also get rid of Iwobi asap

I dont think he will go he said he was very happy at everton but the problem is money talks

60mill plus mcktominy
Demand 100 million lol
Keep Onana he'd be worth 80 to 100 m next year.

Be a big loss if we lose him
Sure haven't we got Gbamin, Alli and Gomes waiting in the wings so what could possibly go wrong??
Toffee TV said Man Utd haven't contacted Everton about Onana.

Hi rose great has always if you united want onana why don't everton asked for a swap deal I like like like you
Minimum sixty million , have the books clear and reinforcement money for January transfer Window. As well as what we have coming in.
We'll give you 20M and Mctominay, its a great offer, trust me š. Really, I hope we get Amrabat instead of Onana.
100 Million not a penny less

Of course we'll accept an offer, our board is totally incompetent.

DO.NOT.SELL.HIM!!!! š¤š¬šš”š¤
Bet we let him go for about 30mil 20 now and 10 ifs and maybes
its gotta be £70M
money talks a huge offer will be made and they will offer him big wages. we are domed .if we dont go down this season it will be a miracle.
Mad to sell him but we should not keep a disenchanted player
I wouldn't be worried about Onana, Rose!š

Yes 50 million is now peanuts when you see what other midfielders are going for, 75 million as a starting point
Never mind strikers and bloody wingers we're desperate for a central midfielder who can control and dictate the game from the middle of the park because we haven't got one

It'd be a blow to lose Onana who is IMO one of the better players at Everton.
Onana is one brilliant season away from over 100 million player. Don't sell him
I would take that money for Onana who has done nothing yet. McAllister was only 35m a world cup player and proven Prem player. Also get rid of Iwobi asap
