  1. So hope the Maguire news is true. Really don’t want him at West Ham. In previous posts I said that he is a classic case of a player who got the big move and sat on his laurels. He is a player in terminal decline and thinks he is better than he really is. The fact that no other club has been mentioned showing interest says volumes.

  2. Brennan Johnson really isn't that good in my opinion especially £45m good. He is not on Paqueta's level. There's so many better midfielders out there. We need a striker. Wish Moyes would just let Steidten choose what players to buy.

  3. I think maguire would be a great addition for us and a good defender its his attitude during this transfer thats made me think do one not his ability
Plenty more we could get on his level let him rot on uniteds bench
    Welcome jwp

  4. I can understand Harry McGuire feeling he’s been made to look a bit of a dick by Man U & hoping to screw them for every penny. Also, he’d probably like to prove them wrong by moving to Real Madrid, but sometimes Harry, you have to start rebuilding on a sounder footing.

  5. The best bit about the McGuire business being kicked into touch is the strong rumour that we are going for two Bayer Leverkusen players. They might be awful but it seems to have Tim Steidten's stamp all over it. It suggests the power (or influence) battle is shifting in the right direction.

  6. Honestly chuffed with this news. He may of played well for us but I just feel his principles are so out of line with us as a club and would be purely a mercenary untill what he deemed a better team came in for him if they ever would

  7. Maguire has given us a insight into his character and Man Utd into theirs. Maguire is too good for us; we are insignificant to Utd. Let's hope Manchester United keep him: they deserve each other. Maguire staying, weakens Man Utd both financially and on the field; Maguire coming weakens us financially and on the pitch. Glad to see this impasse. Long may it last.

  8. Always been 50/50 about JWP but got to agree he comes across as decent , respectful and committed to WHUFC from day 1 . Did not know how close he is to prem record set by becks just over 400 games for saints Almost.50 goals and 50 assists not to shabby the slab can do one 🤑🤑🤑🤮🤮🤮🤯

  9. So Happy Maquire has turned us down… Gonzo I agree with you ..what a big head !! not what we want at West Ham and to pay 30mill for at all ! Move on leave him to rot

  10. It's not a loyalty bonus for Maguire I don't think Gonzo, it's a payout since he's dropping from 190k a week at Utd to 120k a week with us. So he wants around £10m I think since he's taking a 70k a week drop in wages.

  11. Im happy with the signing of JWP but not signing Harry Mcguire im equally happy with, i think were well covered in central defence but for me the top priority is a quality striker who is pacy and scores goals and i believe theyre out there if you look hard enough

  12. Not signing Maguire has almost given the fan base a boost. Almost like it doesnt matter about losing Paqueta and Rice 😂👍

  13. I hope we get two of either Kudus, brennan Johnson and Morgan gibbs-white. Imo we should put in a bid of around £80 million for both Johnson and MGW and they would accept, but would love Kudus too: Everything looking up though ⚒️⚒️⚒️

  14. We shouldn’t be surprise. He was the captain of Man U last year and they paid a fortune for M.. he thinks he’s bigger than West Ham, but we have a strong and inclusive team culture. Nothing like Manure!!!! Don’t you think he physically has a big head…

  15. Maguire thinks hes bigger than ManU! We dont need that sort of ego at our club thank you! He is a mug, ManU will keep him on the bench, Maguire will not get a place into the England team and I don´t want him at West Ham… Maguire the melt? YES!

  16. We should sign Bryan mbeumo because he is the winger that has the same style of play as Bowen and he can run faster allowing Bowen to play striker
He would be accessable for easly as he has 2 year left on his contract so brentford will have to sell him to make a profit. Not only would does he played prem football already but he is 24 so both david and tim would like him as well as him being young so u could sell him for double the amount spent if he wanted to leave

  17. Maybe Maguire is a bit smarter than people give him credit for. He has probably looked at the recent drama at Westham and players that have gone there and finished on the bench. Hès gone to Aston Villa where he will get game time. Good Luck to him.

  18. Been going on about Brennan Johnson for months now. Glad someone at West Ham is listening to me.

Very excited if this transfer comes through. He could be our Watkins, don’t want to see him coming in at the expense of Paqueta.

Feel that having Johnson to run onto balls from Paqueta would be deadly.

Alvarez, JWP and Johnson, I’d be happy with the transfer window – 1 or 2 more signings would be 👌 presuming we keep Paqueta.

  19. Great news him and Moyes would have clashed anyway both arrogant and can not be told or accept any advice good or bad …
Just need moysie to run 500 miles and 500 more 😂😂

  20. Waited weeks for maguire, waited weeks for lingaard last season. There's a pattern here gonzo. They never and didn't want to play the west ham/moyes. Its that simple!

  21. This has got to have been the ‘spiciest’ transfer window of all time.
Can’t believe we still have weeks of this left to go.
    What will happen next?

  22. To be fair, he obviously wanted to join WHU enough to have actually agreed terms with us. If he thinks he's being shafted by Man Utd (even if we don't think so) then fair enough he should stick his ground

  23. Agree with you Gonzo ref JWP,he seems a really decent bloke, has a lovely family into the bargain, can’t wait for him to start at the end of September with Alvarez, going to be like having two new signings oh hang on they are new signings 😂(sorry a little dig at Moysey).I really hope too see them both very very soon.I was delighted we pulled out of the Maguire deal, personally didn’t want him anywhere near our club,he thought he was better than us from the start, bad influence on others and would have been a bad influence on others we could do without that.
I’m still very concerned about our transfer strategy if they even have one, linked or interested in 150 players and have signed 2?More leaving than coming in and our squad is thin enough, look at our bench last Saturday,2 keepers and only 6 outfield players.
Weren’t we interested in him a month ago?But typical Moysey spent 4 weeks flashing his knickers at Maguire, now we have 3 odd weeks of him flashing his worn out M and S knickers at Lingard.I don’t think that will impress Johnson too much?
