For me a lot of complexities here. First off I like Ramsdale, Pickford and Raya. For me personally the style of play I would make England play if I had a say would mean Ramsdale number 1 but in a southgate system, which unfortunately is what we are stuck with, arguing against pickford is much harder to do. Now I will say anyone with Buveys pov can't be called mental because when Rory is saying "yes but pickford spent the season nearly getting relegated and Ramsdale finished second…" That is in favour of Buveys arguement. In fact based off previous experience it is more likely that had their positions swapped, Ramsdale would've got everton relegated and Pickford could've secured Arsenal the league. (Not necessarily my opinion) but you cannot argue against it.
Now more interestingly to me is raya who I thought was brilliant and could not understand why chelsea, spurs, utd even newcastle before pope didn't try to get Raya or Sanchez. imo both are levels above pickford, pope, ramsdale and great ages so still have potential to fill. I think the only keeper they are categorically worse than is allison but i think it's much closer than people like to admit for ederson, onana, martinez (villa fan). Actually if we can convince them to split playing time before martinez maybe leaves in a season or two I'm desperate to sign sanchez and think he could be our martinez but for closer to a decade.

People like Buvey keep disrespecting Ramsdale for the tail end of the season but never seems to mention that he had recently LOST HIS CHILD and had to not only keep up with the struggles of your child dying, but also remain focused on challenging for the league. I can guarantee you that if any of the Ramsdale haters like Buvey were in Ramsdale shoes, they would succumb to the pressure and just completely drop in tears mid game and wouldn't be able to handle it the way he did. He should definitely be praised alot more for his achievements than he is right now.

Lmao, Ramsdale actually kept Arsenal in the title race. We were getting pamped at home against Leeds and B'moth. He kept us in those games and also many more. Only notable mistake was against S'ton at home.
