Foden is always no look shooting!

  1. Finally, I understand why he could only finish one big chance against Real Madrid in two seasons… Anyway, what I found interesting that he is scoring well-above xG. Maybe not when it matters the most or against best opponents and those are important factors but he is still a pretty decent finisher. Imagine if he would look…

  2. It's a compromise between the goalkeeper having no idea where and Phil Foden kinda having an idea of where he's aiming (although it's probably gonna be across the goal)

  3. His shooting form is insane. The way he whips his leg and his arm movement all while twisting his neck too for an extra whip.

  4. I mean if you ever played football, realistically do you ever stare at the goal at the moment of the shot? You look at the goal every moment before the shot and at the shot you look at the ball to make sure you actually hit the ball, nobody looks at the goal. He seems to simply lifts his head up a little early after impact and exaggeratedly looks away

  5. Probably because he used to just shooting and learning where the goal is from where he’s stood. And from what we see, doesn’t seem like it’s a bad thing, just that he’s confident in his ability to know where the goal is.
