  1. Maguire is a player rhat thrives in a back foot, counter attacking team. He's going to do well for West Ham if he can get his confidence back.

  2. It’s all about system Rory. In a slow paced possession side with a deep laying defense he is nothing short of incredible. We saw this with both England and Leicester and I think West Ham’s pace will suit him. The united way of fast counters and quick pace never suited him. He was only really good under Jose and that was simply due to the pace of Jose’s game which suited him well

  3. England set up differently to United and that suits him better. I think it may be slower too which helps because he doesn't have the best pace and he's focused more on the ball than the dangers around him. He'll do alright for West Ham. We have to accept the fee which looks bad on everyone when placed next to his transfer fee when we signed him, not Harry's fault that it was inflated by Leicester though.

All the best to him. United have moved past him but that doesn't mean he's a poor player. Likely McSauce goes too? Lovely buisness for all.

  4. As bad as Maguire was for Untied, it's also the team that he played in. Before Casimero and ETH that holding midfield with McFred was the worst ever in United's history and then when ETH came in and wanted to play pressing football Maguire was never good enough for that.

  5. Great video. I dont know why, but i really like your content. Even as a united fan. You seem to present unbiased and logical arguments and discussions. Keep up the good work.

Also, you are spot on about Maguire and im sure at a team that sits deeper he well perform well. But for united hes a walking mistake and a yellow card waiting to happen.

I wish him luck, its just one of those thing that hasnt worked out.

  6. He’s gotten so underrated cos of all the abuse he’s got and all the memes but he’ll be great for West Ham especially with Ward Prowse on set pieces

  7. Typical Moyes signing, buys over aged players with no sell-on value + I don`t like slabhead after his "do you know who i am" greek holiday adventure + he has not played first team football for awhile = so he is not gonna be up to speed…..poor poor signing (and it will proven to be so).

  8. It’s not England vs Manchester United. Harry Maguire is a world class CB inside his own box with the game in front of him. He has an incredible aerial %.

As soon as he outside his box, has to scan, react quickly, run, or under pressure with the ball at his feet he’s a liability.

As a United fan I’m happy to see him leave, he doesn’t suit the football we want to play. But I’m confident in a team playing a low-block he’d be a great addition to any of them in the prem or other top leagues.

  9. Rory Jennings’s “He’s a good bloke”. One of the pivotal attributes of a professional footballer. Rory, why not try doing a YouTube cast pissed, it may make it mildly interesting.

  10. Now that eth has gotten rid of their so called 3 biggest problems at United, if he don't take that team to a treble then it's a failure of a season.

  11. Real Madrid are exploring goalkeeping options in light of Thibaut Courtois' serious knee injury and contact has been made with David de Gea's representatives.

  12. As a Utd fan, I hope Maguire can turn his career around. The unfair criticism and scapegoating from both Utd fans as well as rival fans, has clearly taken a toll on his confidence. No hard feelings towards him. Hopefully he can pick himself back up wherever his career takes him.
