      I wish the deal does not come through so Barca can consider Alex Baena. To me for Barca now Alex should be preferred over Gundegan. Gundegan has won so many trophies with Dortmund and City and in his mid 30s.His desire to play and win trophies and make a name for himself at Barcelona may no be as strong as that of Baena. Plus Baena is good, he is really good. I watch him throughout last seasons he really do know how to drive with the ball into the box and also do find himself spaces in the box which he can be picked with a pass many times. Then he comes up with goals . vital ones as well.

      I'm hoping since he's literally completed football at City, the prospect of joining Barca excites him, plus he can join up with former teammates Lewy & Dembele.

      When will this deal be done and confirmed it is talking far to long now we can still sign him can't we have to get Gundogan to our club no one else.

      All City has to do is lengthen their renewal offer to more than 1 season and he will stay so it depends on what city do or don't do honestly

      If we fail to sign Gundogan there has to be someone else that we can go in for, maybe a Wirtz or Thiago Almada or someone that can play a similar role

      Based on the delay, probably he won't join Barca, but let's hope I'm wrong. Barcelona for sure will have some other options in min for that position. For me it's more important that the player start to understand better the offensive game than the players coming in. We need more link ul in the final third

      If he doesn't have a special liking to the Barca (like e.g. Lewandowski), I don't think there is a chance.

      Why would he leave the richest and best club, with the best coach.

      Doesn't make sense.

      He is just too good not to sign, he is the best time and space player in the world right now just like Xavi back in the day, he can score goals for fun and is such a threat in the final third, something we are missing big time, a must signing

      I really hope he comes…. We need 1 or 2 top quality midfielders to control the games. Last season we saw lack of quality in midfield meaning that especially Lewa had to drop deep participating in the build up meaning that we obviously didn’t create enough chances.

      Again again again Barca don’t need him!!!!! I’m saying the same thing I said before they signed Griezman and Torres from city….

      He still got some few seasons to show what he is capable of doing, so for sure he won't join Saudi ,we all know how pep built the man city team in last few seasons with ageing we can't guarantee he will get regular playing time next seasons and so it is better for him to join us when we really need, it will befair terms for both the parties not financially but interms of sporting project.

      I don’t know, it seems as though the more and more time he has the more he is waiting for man city to give him a better offer or the more he considers stay at city

      ha ha Laporta keeping up with the Jones's (vis s vis R Madrids announcement ) to be honest I think we have some great younger players coming through and I would like Gundogan. After not signing Messi Im not that bothered .. I don't have high hopes but maybe its just an emotional response because I really thought it would happen and once the season gets underway of course I will get behind the team who ever is in it … 💙❤

      Why him 30 years old for me his services is not needed let this dude go to arsenal anyway they accept man city rejects and help them bottle the league we don’t want that kind of thing coming to Barca

      Just like i said about griezman, Eric Garcia and Marcos alonso. Gundogan will be a complete misfit at Barca. I hope we're not able to sign him so that we can make a new competitive baca team rather than a team of Man City and chelsea discards.
