    OUSMANE DEMBELE – TRANSFER SITUATION UPDATE



    Ousmane Dembélé has informed Barcelona that he wants to LEAVE the club and join PSG this summer. Dembélé has a €50M release clause in his contract that expires at midnight tonight, will PSG be able to act in time? And if not, will PSG negotiate with Barça in August?

      For me personally i feel a sense of betrayal, past seasons i had a lot of hope for him as a player since he has signed only for him to have a lot of injuries and poor displays, past season however he has put up the numbers and shown what he in that not only his performance but his maturity has rised, id be saddened to see him go but I wouldn’t stop him from going either.

      75-80 million would be my suggestion

      We should play hardball with PSG, which is not a friendly club, and with an ingrateful and greedy player that has earned no consideration from us. We should run out the clock and demand the 100M. PSG is about to sell MBappe for 300M, so we don't need to negotiate anything. We need enough from the sale to buy a player of similar profile, or fill another more pressing need. 25M will get us nothing.

      This is a heartbreaking betrayal. I would call it Figo or Ney 2.0, but he never really accomplished anything for us, as they did.

      Barcelona must NEVER negotiate with PSG because PSG has no honor. They are a French club, they really hate Barca & we should cut all contacts with this Shithouse club PSG!!

      We shouldn't keep him and try to block him,he clearly told the club that he wants to leave but in good term so we should let him go

      I think it's less about Dembele helping Barca but rather more about Moussa Sissoko being Moussa Sissoko. Dembele to PSG is a money move and so would be delaying the transfer too… By agreeing to leave Dembele has proven he does not care about Barca nor the trust and loyalty Xavi has proven towards him.

      Giving dejong arajo captain over me and also they earned more than me and I work so hard I will take it personal to it’s like the club doesn’t care about him y don’t they try to lower dejong u people always like to hate on dembele you Barca fan are fake I really wish him the best at PSG he deserves better and I’m sure he will revive his career there ❤

      Dembele is an exceptional player but if his desire is to leave then I agree on letting him go. Barcelona was patient and stood by him through his injuries and inconsistency and Xavi has great faith in him but Dembele has other ambitions. Wish him the best.

      Dembele and his agent are only after the big bucks (money). Why? Because he is happy at Barca and PSG aren't better than Barca in sporting project and overall performance.

      His situation is soon going to be like Neymar who betrayed Barca to go for the huge salary despite his importance in the Barca and legacy he was building.

      It's a pity to see some players following money instead of Legacy in football

      Well we've been fair and patient with his growth and development throughout his time. Tough knock for Xavi. Wish him well I hope this ends quickly and they let him go quickly. It seems like we wasted time here. Fans won't be as patient with current players coming up short in like of this….Let him go 60-70M or 100M clause i dont care, fill the gaps. Alot of opportunities here for guys to step up big time

      Barca don't force him to stay,if he wants to leave the club let him go,coz if you keep on begging him,he will be playing rubbish next season,let him go and bring Benardo,we really want the players who really wants to play for Barca nothing,he will regret his decision just like Neymar…..mark my words on this dembele saga

      Who came up with Dembele's current contract? The clauses in it are absurd: 50% of transfer fee goes to the player??? That just incentivizes the player to turn mercenary! Also 50 million release clause when the player cost the team over 80 million to buy??? Wow, just wow

      Just let him go Luis will sort him out …. I think Paris is perfect destination for him and he will be happy there another thing I've not see brought up anywhere is the issue of racism in
      Spanish football …. surely real issues … like this have impact on footballers and their families … however PSG ….the supporters have to be on your side or its hell … I hope he gets what he wants …

      Well, his football career it was finished anyway so the best thing for him it is to get money, he should go to Saudi Arabia like all others finished players.

      Dembele's finishing is poor, he wastes lots of chances and is injured frequently than we would like. I'm absolutely happy that he is leaving. I'm by all means grateful what he has done for Barcelona so far. He helped us a lot when our performances were not that good. However, the club is growing at the moment, Xavi is rebuilding the team and now we need a better squad. Time for Dembele to leave.

      7 years of mediocre results…..sell him before he pull’s another hamstring!! He was supposed to bring us Neymar stats but barely cracked 10+ goals twice since he’s been at Barca. When are people gonna realize that his Potential is never gonna turn into Expectation. Take the money and Run.
