Amrabat for €30m will be a decent value for money signing for us.

He might bench mount at this point who looks more like a Mata signing not sure where to be effective

– Can play alongside Casemiro, when we play against tougher sides, like City or Liverpool, making us harder to break down.

After refusing to buy holding midfielders for 10 years, United is buying the second one in 10 months. In a world recently dominated by Fabinho, Fernandinho and now Rodri, it must be chrystal clear that it’s necessary in order to maintain consistent results. It’s the spine that gets the 1-0s over the line. This means GK, CB, CDM, CAM and ST. We’ve taken the short term road on ST, neglected the GK tactics, exploded back into relevance after buying our first CAM in ages in Bruno, and improved consistency after buying Casemiro. Now, both a long term striker and a modern GK as well as a backup DM, we’ve improved our spine dramatically. Not having to rely on Maguire or McFred to keep up winning ways when form dips or injury plagues us, is nothing short of a Revolution.
Anything over mctominay
We need young Midfield bully who can switch seemlessly as a attacking midfielder and drop back to support Caesemiro in defensive blocks. Armabat looks like he fits the bill.
I think you have to remember that its a long season and we really missed Casemiro when he was missing games last year.
This transfer not only improves the first team tactical options but it also covers a really important position in the squad which we have no depth at. Fred, McTominay just couldn't do the same job that Amrabat will be able to do.
Amrabat will also be crucial in big games and will add a new dimension to Ten Hag’s 3-1-6 with Casemiro making those 3rd runs into the box while he stays deep to dictate.

Seeing as rice went for 105 mil getting amrabat for 30m is amazing hes a leader and boses the midfield amrabat and casemiro double pivot vs fred and mctominy is almost comparing bronze to diamonds
