Mike McGrath from the Telegraph is reporting that Tottenham have identified Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher as a replacement for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and the Englishman could cost up to £50m in the current market.
And in a market where Harry Kane is worth £100m and James Maddison is worth £40m – I think this is an absolutely ridiculous transfer for a player who is not good enough.
But with the former West Brom loanee also having interest from old club Crystal Palace and Everton, will he remain at the Blues or move to North London instead?
All we know is he is heading on their pre-season tour of the USA.
West Ham United also want to sign the Englishmen!

I agree with you. Gallagher is an OLD-Spurs (we're talking pre-Redknapp)-type signing. For 20M, sure; he can add energy off the bench- but for a very specific system in which discipline is key, he is literally the opposite of that. Not for me, thanks.
Heard Chelsea want 45-50mil..then Levy will find other team..price zone 15-20mil like Raya n Vicario story. We need MF..but this guy is too expensive.

Spurs and Chelsea never do business together . Ever since the Frank Arnesan thing . 10 year agreement that Chelsea couldn't buy any Spurs player ( google it if you're younger or didn't know ) Secondly Levy refused to sell Modric to Chelsea and he wanted to go there .
